My college review

College must reduce the excess pressure they put on the students.

It is a 3 year course and have 6 semester exams. Exams are done after exam dates are announced by the university. It is a fair examination process done in the college. Lab exams are done with external teachers coming to the college. No industrial visits were organised for the students.

Yes, regular campus interview happen in the college every year. We can attend only in the final year. Companies often appear are vipro, reliance etc.

There are many events happening in our college. Cultural programmes include all the festival celebration such as onam, Christmas, valentine's day, Kerala piravi etc moreover every year we conduct arts day and sports day also. Fresher's day will also be there for welcoming juniors.

Semester fees for computer science is 18,750 rs. Fees can be payed in the college office and online payment also available from this year onwards. Additionally semester exam fees only required that come around 650 rs. Yes the college provide a transparent fee system.

No I didn't opted for any scholarships or educational loans. Many companies come for campus interview every year.

Campus Life is quite good. When come to gender ratio women numbers are less than men. In our class only 9 girls and 27 boys. Some department has more girls than boys like the botany department. College have a ground which conducts annual sports meet every year and other games like football and cricket also. When it comes to religion the college is runned by a muslim association group and the students there also has a majority muslim number. Other religion students often face some discrimination due to the muslim majority present in the college.

Seniors are quite often helpful and ragging is comparatively less. The college alumnis are often not satisfied with the college performance.

I got through management seat. Took admission on 7 th June 2018. Process is very simple. First register yourself in the university in which the college is affiliated. Then come to the college office and opt for management seat and fill the form the college has given and submit it to the principal. We can check our status in the next week. I opted this course to find a job in the IT field.

There are more than 15 lectures in our department (computer). Only one male staff and all others are female teachers. Most of them are a B. tec graduate or a computer degree holder. Average age of the lectures is around 35. They provide good quality teaching to the students by clearing all their doubts. No the lectures don't hold any specific certifications.
