Likes
- The campus is green and lush ,it is so soothing and refreshing to be there it is surrounded with variety of trees you can roam around in the campus and feel relaxed.
- The faculty is teaching is so well they teach you from basics to advance even if you are from biology background you can easily understand the coding language from the first semester the coding is included into your curriculum .
- We like the food available in the campus. There are many varieties available to us. The food here is very hygienic also. We get varieties like Maggie, pizza ,burger ,South Indian food North Indian food chart tandoor chicken shawarma roll etc.
Dislikes
- Only a few cultural activities takes place and there are no fest conducted in our university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is designed in such a way that they prepare you for industry level requirements . At the end of each semester , we are supposed to do a mini project for each coding subjects. Every semester we have word to internals each for theory as well as practical then we have a semend exam each for theory and practical and coding languages each semester we learn a new coding language. The questions in the exams are medium to difficult level they you can get the questions from VTU textbook or from sometimes it is the based on your logic.
Internships Opportunities
Right from the second semester we have placement training classes where we learn about the how the industrial level stuff we have aptitude as well as coding training which are named as placement training classes and then in the final year there is a mandatory internship as well as we are exposed to different environment such as git hub leetcode etc and the roles offered in a company or software developer HR data analyst etc there is a separate department such as which is known as the river nest were all the projects or ideas are taken and we get funded based on our ideas before even 4th year and regarding the projects we have minor project as well as the major project
Placement Experience
Eligibility for placement take place from 3rd year onwards the number of the companies which have visited campus as of I have herd are deolite Wipro cognizant embassy brigade TCS jws the highest package is about 50 lpa and the average package is of 4.5 lpa. Students that are eligible for all the criteria from the college are eligible for placement such as your backlogs and stuff. I want to get placed in a good company.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total amount we paid is 525000 per year .So the total sums upto 2050000. For kcet per year structure is 126000 and during course completion it will be 360000+ . We have to pay 3000 for each semester. If you write Reva CET or if you have good JEE ranking you will get an extra amount of rs 15000 to 25000 deducted from your annual fees. You can also take loan from banks and take arivu education loan
Campus Life
There are so many hackathons that take place in our college and annually there is a designeathon that takes place and for cultural events there are no as such significant cultural events but we do have many cultural events that take place in every department we have all the facilities in our college such as the college Wi-Fi and the classrooms are neat and tidy and we are encourage to join into sports. We have many clubs which are run by students the significant is the face and then we have other cultural related clubs as well as technical related clubs this club provide an exposure to the industry level environment and we can walk with projects and organised events and talks.
Admission
I had applied in NITTE , precidency and Acharya. I had given for aeronautical engineering in NITTE . I had selected computer science and engineering in presidency University. I had chosen for engineering in biotechnology. I chose Reva due to the placement and facilities available. I took admission through management . I got to know about Reva by my neighbour which got placed in the campus for a good package
Faculty
So basically there is one mentor for about 25 to 30 students and for class teacher there is one with 60 students in each class. All the facilities are very friendly and supportive. They give us moral support and guide us for our future will being also. They train us for placements from the 1st semester itself. They provide skill development course to gain skills with a certificate. We have two internals conducted every semester with a total marks of 40 marks for each subject. 10 marks are included for our assignments/project. The semester exam is of 100 marks which is scaled down to 50. We need to pay 3000 to write our semester end examination.
Night Life
You can visit p g Street if you want to have something very good and just opposite to our college there is a cafe you can visit there and then are college has gym cafeteria and a vast library you can get access to all the book of different varieties there is a hostel for accommodation of students and then campus timings are from about 8:30 to 4:15 p.m. and this timings vary each day on your time table. There are also medical facilities which are available in case of any emergency in conclusion everything and anything you want to have is available on campus so it is very helpful for the students
