Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course is very comprehesive and relevant the thing that it lacks is Industry readiness and that is a factor which a student has to filfill from his side . The exams and labs are there which make you proficient in your field of study.

Internships Opportunities

5

As of now all the intership opportunities that you will get in the college will be mostly based on your skill and little on the recommendations of the professors in the college . Few companies that offered roles are: Amdocs Barclays

Placement Experience

5

Third year student or 5th sem student are eligible for placements and the placement scope is continually increasing in our college with several student placed in Amdocs and student cracking internship for companies like Barclays and Google.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly tution fees 125000 Hostel fees is under 6k Monthly mess bill comes depending upon your hostel. If you belong to Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe then 100% waiver on tution fees. If family income less than 1 Lakh then also no tuition fees.

Campus Life

5

Infrastructure provide to us is not up to the mark . Our school has a Lecture Complex which is temporary in nature . And a new building is being built whose contruction has already started. Books related to academics as well as non academic are available in the JNU library.

Hostel Facilities

5

The Mess food is good in the begining but in the meantime you get bored of it as usual. In room you will be provided a bed with a locker.Registration process of hostel is fairly simple after getting approved by the IHA.

Admission

my sole reason for choosing this college over other is that I was getting a brach (electronics and communication engineering) which has increasing scope . I didn't qualify for other colleges because of the simple fact that my percentile was not upto the mark.

Faculty

5

The course curriculum is very relevant and the syllabus is almost in par with any other Government institution but the lab facilities are not that good. They are sufficient but not fulfilling. The professors are highly qualified. Deepak Sharma sir teaches us AI and is graduate from IISc Bangalore.

Night Life

5

Most of the hostels in JNU have their own gyms . There is now campus or hostel timings whatsoever and the students can roam in the campus freely . The night life is Jnu is brighter than the day as some of the dhabas open specially at night.

Placement Experience:

The on campus placement are quite good here even for the code branch. The training and placement cells works really hard for students to land onto best ones. Also regular meets and sessions are taken for students of first second third year's to guide them further by the seniors to let them know about the upcoming events and hackathons so as they don't miss out on anything the seniors also guide the students about the essential skills they should learn and provide them roadmap for the same The highest package this year is quite good and the average package is also decent last year average for mechanical was 8-9LPA which is expected to increase this year for cse and circuital branches the avg package is around 25 LPA or even more
