Review for GEC Modasa

I Opt Information technology engineering course for me because My dream was becoming software engineer.I prepared curriculum for real world application or further academic pursuits is good. I our college faculties teaching methods are very experienced. And mid sem exam is taken in October month while end semester exam is taken in January month.

There is many internship opportunities in our college for all the branches. Internship is given by many famous company in last semester. And internship is compulsory for passing this degree so they gave in last semester.

In every year our university(GTU) hosts placement fair for us. 7th semester students are eligible for it.TCS, INFOSYS,JIO, Amazon, Flipkart,misso etc. companies visited our college.highest package in our college was 12 lakh and average package is about 4 lakhs.35-40% students getting in placement.my plan after getting degree is preparing for placements

The yearly fees for GEC Modasa has 1500 /- (including tution fee, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, developement fee and lab fee)and if student belongs to st or sc catagory it is completely free. No fees for girls ( including General and OBC category girls). Hostel fees is 1750 rs per year. There is scholarship for OBC ,ST and SC students for 50,000 rs per year.

There is many annual festivals celebrated in our college like freshers party, navratri, ganes chaturthi, janmashtami, utrayana, holi etc.., in our library 1.5 lakh books are available for us.here is more opportunities in sports than other colleges In cricket, volleyball, kho kho, kabbadi, basketball, football, chess etc.., there is many groups in our college.

Our hostel capacity for students is around 600. There is four floor in hostel and 30 rooms on each floor.the biggest hostel in overall gujrat is GEC Modasa's hostel. Here is 5 hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. In one room ,there is living three students, for each student one bed, chair, table, and cupboard. Two fans and three tubelights.

I choosed this college because of low fees and well education facilities.i did not applied for any other colleges.so i am not rejected by any college.ACPC is counciling admission process for this college. Our college cut off was 15170 in 2024 academic year.

There are many Faculty in our college and they are always approachable for us and relationship are also very excellent.i like dipak sir because of he teaches very carefully and also very nice nature.and there is no faculty i am not liking them. There is two exams in a semester (mid exam and semester exam). Mid semester exam is easy to pass and end semester exam is also easy to moderate to pass it.mid semester exam paper taken for 30 marks and semester exam is taken for 70 mark. There is also prectical exam for 50 mark.

Here is gym, canteen, library, garden cricket ground, volleyball ground, kho kho ground, and also helipad is available. Hostel timing is 6.00 am to 10.00 pm.(For all day) And college timings is 11.00 am to 5.00 pm) for Monday to Friday).
