Manipal Institute of Technology is probably the best University in India at the moment when looked at an all round perspective. It brings together a lot of cultures and is a very fun place to learn and to be in.

The course curriculum is upto date with lecturers that are professionals in their own fields. The exam structure goes like this. 50 marks worth internals and 50 marks woeth externals in theoretical subjects, while its a 60-40 mark distribution for practical subjects

Placements and Job opportunities are excellent with top companies coming from around the world. At least eighty percent of the students going for placements end up with n offer. The college provides internships and stipends too.

There is a wide host of events in Manipal, happening throughout the academic year. There are 3 major college fests. First is Tech Tatva, which is a fest that is oriented towards innovation. Next is Revels, which is the biggest fest in manipal, boasting of sports events and stalls and what not. Last is Utsav, which is Manipal's cultural fest

The fee structure is moderate if put into perspective on how expensive things are in the current day and age. The fees for academics in Manipal is around 300000 a year for engineering, while it goes upto 450000 a year for commerce cources.

Manipal offers scholarships for the students that come under the rank of 1000 in the entrance test. The scholarship offered is valid for the first year, and the amount varies from person to person, depending on their financial status.

Extracurricular activities in manipal are top notch. Manipal has 3 outdoor basketball courts, 1 full sized cricket field, 1 full sized football field, 1 full sized hockey field, 2 badminton courts, 2 tennis courts, a swimming pool, along with a dedicated sports complex. Activities are plenty in Manipal with various clubs in the college. There are a lot of labs in the college that provide state of the art resources and technology.

The Hostel facilities in Manipal are the best you will find in India by a long shot. Manipal has a variety of hostels to choose from. You can opt for a single premium AC room with an attached bath to a triple sharing room which is fun.

The alumni and senior students in manipal are very friendly and helpful, as compared to the same of other colleges. Manipal promotes a no ragging environment, and this is enforced in a strict manner. Thus, interactions with the seniors are great.

The faculty in Manipal is excellent and eveey lecturer knows their subject to the best knowledge possible. They are very professional and they try to give attention to every student, thus making student-faculty interactions much more positive.
