What Students Say

Likes

The location is quite good and not remote like many other colleges
The transportation and accommodation is better..one does not need to worrya bout the transport
Exploration and building communication skills as there are student from other states

Dislikes

The schedules as they are hectic like the classes starts from 8 and ends at 5 with half an hour break
Faculty as it is a little hard to deal with

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this as it is interesting to learn and the curriculum can actually prepare the student for the industry level and for the real world as one has to interact with people and deal withthem on their own but yes the areas can be improved if the teaching don't give as a burden to deal with one by one

Internships Opportunities

It's my first semester so I am not familiar with the placement and stuff but from seniors I got to know that Tcs ,wipro,byjus etc are the companies that offers.generally they offer roles for like teacher,and other small roles played in their company but one can grab good role if they are skilled.

Placement Experience

You can get placement but one needs to excel highly in their skills such as coding ,etc.students can be eligible for placement .my plans after getting the degree is to prepare for my higher studies ..

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees i have paid for my respective course is 31000 approx..the tution fees is almost same for every category other than ews...whereas one can further opt for scholarship when the opportunity will be provided.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is not quite satisfactory but nice..the campus life is quite busy and narcissist but it depends like I have not made friends still so one can feel that way..you can join as many clubs you want

Admission

This college was my 5th preference as I didn't know it was an off-campus college as in social website it was under North so I could not get it..the admission process is online one needs to apply for it on the official website of du (csas) physics chemistry and maths and one additional subject is important to be eligible and the exam you need to give to get admission is cuet. the cutoffs depend on the category but generally, cutoffs are a little high for this course.

Faculty

The faculty is quite decent and knowledgeable but sometimes a little tough as the number of students are a little more otherwise it is helpful and it's not like I hate any of the faculty until now ..the course curriculum is relevant as I am studying computers so one need to put dedication in it....

Night Life

There are enough cafes for different things like beverages,junk food stall...talking about the hostel it is under construction..famous places to hangout are karol bagh,cannought place,and cafes as well

The students become eligible for placements after second year or even third year. Companies like Google, Deloitte, KPMG, HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, McKinsey, etc visited our college for placements and recieved over 200 placement offers in the latest year 2025. Highest package of Hindu College is 36.5 LPA and the average package is 11.4 LPA. Hindu College has a high placement rate of 95% of eligible students securing a placement here. My plan is to prepare for UPSC or SSC-CGL after my degree.

Kalindi: The off Campus Star of DU !

There were several Reasons to choose Kalindi: It's an all girls college so it felt comparatively more Safer than the Co-ed ones. Also, this might be an unpopular opinion but the Boys were not there to make mischiefs so there was a good built-in environment for Study. Girls were there to manage each and everything. Either it was NCC, NSS, Sports, Societies or even Student Union, girls were incharge of literally everything and it used to feel very proud and wholesome. Honest opinion of kalindi college

Cuet is the eligibility. Like 70-80% percentile in physics can get you in kalindi. Application are announced nearly in March- april. This exam happens once a year. Cuet have a bit of lengthier and time taking admission procedure but it's worth it....Read More
