Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very helpful and the course also prepares you for real life world experience. Not only the field teaches about IT but also the way things work in an organisation and are also making us company ready.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Teachers post many internships that are posted on our WhatsApp group, so that students can take this opportunity and get exposure to the industry. There are few internships that provide stripend and some don't.

Placement Experience

We can apply for college placements from 7th semester in last year. The placement department is really helpful. As of now few people are placed the highest package a student has received is 7.5 lakh and the lowest is 3.5

Fees and Financial Aid

I am from a SC category so fees for me is different than others I paid 3.5k for my last year now and the friends from open cast are paying 100000 now. There is an option for scholarship too. It is available on Mahadbt website.

Campus Life

There are many clubs and groups students can get involved in. Many extra curricular activities are also there. There are many competitions, hackathon etc. we also have social events such as Bollywood day, dance competition etc.

Admission

I had also got selected in Rajiv Gandhi College on Versova but it was too far from me to travel from Kalyan. The reason I choose this college is it is good and also is easy for me to travel and saves time.

Faculty

The faculties are really helpful and have knowledge of what they are teaching. There are 2 unit test 1 semester exam and vivas for every subject. The exams is difficult, there are few students who do fail the exams.

Night Life

I have never been in my college in night and as we don't have hostel so no one has experienced the night life, so I won't be able to give you any information about this. the max I have stayed in college campus is till 8pm

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
