- DMCE is famous for the awesome teaching staff. As a current Second year student, i will approve that. The faculty here for every subject have many years of experience in teaching so they are great at teaching subjects.
- Our college conducts various events and seminars through college committes which provide students extensive knowledge of real world and help in their character development.
- DMCE has wide range of placements in every department. Almost 100+ companies are connected with this college for placements.
Dislikes
- Management of DMCE college is not as good at all. That is a headache for students
- Campus is not much big . You can't expect much is this terms
- As this is a 3 tier college, internships are not provided by the college instead the student has to search himself for intership
Placement Experience
DMCE offers wide range of placements as many companies visit the campus including mahindra, Capgemini and TCS. Students are eligible from 7 th semester for placements and the average package ranges in between 5 to 9 lakhs per year. Highest package ever offered at DMCE was 10 Lakhs per annum.80-90 percent of students get placed and others opt for higher studies. My plan after getting degree is to get nice job in best companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure of our college keeps changing but speaking in general, 1 year fee of BE course ranges from 14k to 1.35k. This is an average range and it may increase next year. Tution fee- null Development - 9872 Caution money deposit: 10000 Other fees : 3612 Total fees: 23483
Campus Life
Milestone is official event of DMCE which is generally conducted in February. Library consists of many books for all the engineering branches so that students can study the library also offers high speed wifi. Every branch has its own student run committee which conducts many events for students. Sports of DMCE are conducted annually during the official event of college. Our college also have Nss unit and official dance crew.
Admission
I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. Cutoff depends on the branch but it ranges from 50-95 percentile in cet exams. overall the admission process is not too easy neither too hard.
Faculty
Faculties of datta meghe college of engineering are pretty much good. On average ratio of student to faculty is almost 30:1, faculty and student relations are good and the facilities are very very helpful for personal doubt solving i.e they are very approachable.On average 1 of every 10 teachers are not great rest are very great teachers. The college follows the mumbai University curriculum for exams so there are total 4 exams in each year, 2 internal assessments (20 marks each) and 2 semester exams( 80 marks each). The exams are of moderate difficulty and many students get pass in their exams.
Night Life
College do have a canteen area which provide almost all type of foods at affordable prices. As the college campus does not have any hostel or a huge campus, there is generally no night life at campus itself . Although there are students who live in PG'S nearby of college. There are not many famous hangout places near the college itself
