Course Curriculum Overview

2

if i speak honeslty then the whole curriculum needs to be changes for the college as most of the stuff what they are teaching is out dated not relevant to the industry , they have finished the whole dsa topic in just 3 weeks and conducted the end sem exam in 4 week itself , so just imagine how bad their manament is when it comes to relevance to the industry . Here exams are conducted in every 1 month as we have 2 interals and 1 end sem exam pattern .

Internships Opportunities

1

college does not provide you with any internship opportunities , all you need to do is to try for internships by yourself , college does not bring any good companies on the campus for internship opportunity

Placement Experience

3

Here in college companies are vsisting in huge number but the problem is that it does not offer you with tech job , some good companies are coming with high packages but issue is with students as mojority of them are not well prepared to crack the interview , in short college will provide you with plenty fo opportunity but you have to be well prepared for grabing that opportunity .

Fees and Financial Aid

I wrote JET exam which is a type of admission - cum entrance test for jain university , when i cleared the test i was eligible for scholorship of around 1 lakh rupees when i opted for core cse branch , but when i decided to choose specialization in cloud technology they denied to give me any kind scholorship stating that scholorship is provided only for core cse branch and not for sepcialization branches which i feel is kind of scam to students . No coming to fees per anum for mine course ( btech in cse with sepialization in cloud technology and mobile applications ) is set to 2, 75, 000 thousands per anum . And this fess is increasing every year by around 50 , 000 thousands every year for upcoming new batches

Campus Life

1

campus life is very boring as college does not conduct any good events through out the year . they have their annnual fest named as "infinty' which is way too boring . if you are someone who is looking to enjoy his college life then please do not join this college . in terms of fest and extra curricular this college is waste of your money . they do not have even one good techinical club also . and the infrastruture is limited to only one academic block only . at the time of admission they will show that they will provide you with plenty of sports facilites but at the end you will get nothing . if you are someone who is more intrested in extra curricular then this college is not for you better you join some other college

Hostel Facilities

2

hostel facility is somewhat better espically 2 sharing boys hostel is good as compare to 3 sharing but the issues is with mess food . the food which they provide is very and also they do not lookout ofr the food quality of the mess food and if you are someone who is pure vegetarian person then you won't get anything to eat outside the college also , as majorly all of the shops are non vegetarian only , and all the pg's around the college are also non vegetarian so you won't have any good option to stay out of the hostel

Admission

Before joining this college i have applied to around 11- 12 colleges across india , I have written various entrance exams for enginnering colleges I cleared some the exmas too , but none of the college was up to mine expectation so i the end i joinied jain college , like i got selected for SRM chennai but dur to its high fee and huge student intake i joinied Jain university and same was with VIT , KIIT as well

Faculty

1

faculty is not that good , all what they do is just play dirty polictics on the basis of the students home state .south indians teachers are in majority and they are more inclined towards south indian students . the end sem exams are way to easy anybody with just basic knowlegde of the subject can clear the exam , even the question is set from the ppt questions only , so if someone who has very good power of memorizing the whole ppt can easly score 100 marks in the paper and also sometimes south faculties give the whole question paper before the exam to south indian students especially to the andhra pradesh as mojorly faculities are from there only

Night Life

1

this college does not hve any night life as college is loacted on the outskirts of the banaglore city , so you won't have anything to enjoy . the locality around college is also not safe especially at night time . college has only one gym in which also half of the machines do nit work and even if you complain they won't repair the machines . and the library is way too small it does not have even proper have seating area for the students . there are manily 2 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel all the hostel have same timming of around 9 pm

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

They start conducting placements activities from the 2nd year itself like AMCAT preparation, skillrack, etc. So the students become eligible for campus placements from 7th sem itself. Many companies like TCS, Diggibyte, Zoho, etc. and the offers are from 3 lakh to 16 lakh per annum. Percentage of students getting placements are about 90% My plan is to get into the IT sector as i have an interest to explore and enhance my technical skills

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
