I choose computer science. Because i like to use computers and do coding . Moreover it's curriculum do not match with standard industry trends. We should change in the curriculan topics for future trends like dsa syllabus is good but web development syllabus is not good . As we know there are latest technologies coming for web . But we are taught same old technologies which are used less and in companies latest technology uses. Exams occur in every month sometimes fa's weightage 20% of some subjects only , then st's and then final

Many big companies like microsoft , google gives intership opportunity in 5 th semester . But of limited students based on their cgpas. Other companies also give interships with average stipend of 25000/ month.

From 6th sem students actual placements critieria started . Elitmus etc. type of exams started but intership in big companies like microsoft , google come in 5 th sem. But they choose only 1 person . Many companies visited in this university with average package of 7-8 lakhs . Mostly 80% students get placed. Highest package till is 45 lakhs . If i get placed then ok going with them but if not places then i will go abroad

I yearly paid 170000 thousand rupees there is no quota for category but you can approve loans for current students fees is 2 lakh per annum there is lots of scholarships bases on tests and student marks

In technical festivals , hackathons are there very often. There are many clubs in this university . They conduct hackathons. Annual functions conduct every year but this time it is conducting after 4 years due to covid and flood. Other festivals also conducted .

We have wardens and caretakers in our hostels . Every day the room get cleaned by cleaning persons. Other facilities provided like mirror , almirah, a.c , snack machine provided . Meal quality is good . You all know about hostel foods so can't tell you more about this. We have a timetable which changes every 3 months for hostel food . Neared they is rajpura or zirakpur we can rent a room or pg there

I did not apply for any other college , i apply only for this university chitkara university because their placements are good . I asked from my people about this college , all said conpanies come more in this college due to their chancelor ashok chitkara sir he is very famous. The college choose mostly on jee basis but if there is more seats left then it also choose on +2 basis

The faculty to student ratio is managable. There are trainers from different companies like my anatomy , hitsbulleye etc .we can ask any doubt even outside class hours. The faculities i like most is neeraj sir because of his teaching style. The facilities i don't like is rahul sit because he did not give attendance , he cut attendance even on small talks in the classroom. Talking about examination system we have 2 or 3 st and then final exam . If there is 2 st then best of 2 weightage 40% and final weightage 60% . If 3 st the average of all 3 weightage 40% and final 50%. Exams are relavent to course curriculum but not relavent to present industy standards

Nightlife is awesome . Full lighthing and a light music plays. We are allowed till 12:00 .square one is the most famous place . Because it is like a. Big hotel . Dominos , barista, subway and many more outlets are there . Some students study in libraray it is opened till 11:00 pm . Students play games in sporitorium like foose ball , carrom , chess . And outdoor games like badminton , football , basketball .
