Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum planned by the BMS college of engineering for computer science and engineering department is updated and up to mark. course is relevant tonour placement which can help us through the interview rounds. Teaching methods of every teacher is unique and different.

There are many companies which come here for placement and internships offer for different sectors depending on the company and you you will be given the stipend internship we have two tiers tier 1: offers less than 6 LPA tier 2: offers above 6LLA

Students after 3rd year are eligible for internships and fourth year can get there PPO or placement through the campus HP and JP Morgan visit our college and highest package of 51 LPA Mostly everyone gets placed by the end of their 4th year.

Admission

I could have got admission in MS ramaih institute of technology but i chosed BMS college of engineering because of its reputation and placement history. To get admission in BMS college of engineering you can apply wither through COMED-K and KCET.

Faculty

Faculty of BMS college of engineering are very well chosen for the students academics as well as placement point of view. Teachers have a master or PhD degree, which makes them very knowledgeable about their subjects. many of the techers have job experienced which is again a bonus points for students as it helps them prepare for there future job experiences. In a semester students have 3 internal test out of which best of two are selected and semester end exam. Course is planned for our department is very relevant to the current situations.

Night Life

BMS college of engineering has gym, cafeteria, canteen, Library, and place where we can stroll around at night. hostel timings are 9:30-9:45. guards come to check if everyone is present in there respective rooms at 10pm

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided
