Course Curriculum Overview

If you are looking forward for a software job or 9 to 5 job, this course is fine. But this course lacks practical knowledge. Compare to other courses greater package are available outside the county for this course

Placement Experience

High placement opportunities are available. And placement opportunities are readly available in the 6th semester and 7th semester. If not placed you will get better job outside because the value of the certificate from this college

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is around a sem is about twelve thousand. But it may vary accordingly. If you posses any scholarship you will ne able to withdrew it after the completion of thw course. If you from a scheduled cast you have to pay a lesser percentage of fees than the others

Campus Life

There is a technical fest named DYUTHI conducted mainly on or before December. Also an art fest named URAKKE conducted in july. Here they are giving more importance to athletics. Also so many technical clubs and arts club run by this college

Admission

Basically the placement opportunity that made ne to choose this college and also the ambience. This college is the best 2nd position engineering college in kerala. To getting admission here we have to qualified keam entrance exam with good rank

Faculty

The faculties are well educated. Two internal exams are conducted in a sem with half portions. It is conducted for 50 marks. For written sem exam we have attendence above 75 percentage in each subject.

Night Life

This college is mainly 24 hours open. Gym is closed in 6pm and the library closed also 6 pm. Girls hostel curfue is the time 9pm. There is no curfue for mens hostel. Inside the college campus is very safe.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.
