Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose psychology because I liked the subject as such and course structure seemed very holistic here, but the teaching is very poor. We have 2 mid semester examination and it can get frustration with all the project works

Fees and Financial Aid

I am currelt paying 120000 rupees for one yr with 61000 approx for one semester. There are scholarship opportunities based on your 12 th grades bbut I couldn't avail it because they said they had some issues with systemising it. So I'm paying full fee. The rate is generally higher for psychology course but as far as I know bcom acca and bba courses are cheaper here

Campus Life

2

There are a lot of clubs but they are quite inactive except for music and arts. The overall campus life is not good because the campus is too small and the extra curricular activities are way less compared to other colleges

Hostel Facilities

2

The college hostel is available and they also provide bus transportation but I personally didn't like staying in chinmaya hostel and I think it was a bit too strict for me and the timing are way stricter here than other pgs

Admission

Chinmaya was an easy option because it was a private university and they accepted admission even we were a bit late to the admission process. I got referred by a teacher who taught there previously ..

Faculty

3

The student to faculty ratio is very disturbed here. Proficient teachers other than on courses on indic knowledge is less here regardless the good course structure. Exams dates keeps changing and dates and provided maybe 1-2 weeks before

Night Life

2

Night life is nil. Basically the college ends at 4 in the evening and even when there are functions in th colleges as part of the fests and everything , night life not much experiences her. Except for the fact that you can go out alone or with your friends

Other Applied Colleges

Jain University - [JU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biotechnology)

The admission procedures was getting late

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course not because of curriculum. The syllabus is very bad and it doesn't really help to apply in real-world situations.I suggest that the practical exposure must be needed and give chances for students to apply in internships. The timing of exam actually stressed alot in even semesters due to shortage in classes. The faculty rushes to take class and also gives a load of work when the exam is near.

Our syllabus and curriculum was easy to moderate in the first year. And in the final year it changes to moderate to difficult. More of the questions are direct questions and some questions related to organic chemistry is in application level.

? I chose chemistry because of the versatility of thge subject. ? There are differet branches of chemistry I can get into. ? We are given a good lab and research opportunities for encountering them in the outside world. ? The exams are well timed, and they are easy to tackle if we are prepared well.

The placement of our collage are better as our collage has less student which gives a relax mindset to the mamangnment that not many people are left to place. In our collage gurls get placed in first year itself as the act of SYNERGY girls recruitment. For boys as well. Many good companies enroll in this collage.
