Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is a big part of my life , best course to take if you love reading and love science. Teaching methods in our college involves patient interaction and stuff giving us more practical knowledge. The internals take place once in 3 months followed by minimum of a month study holiday for the finals. The internals are fairly easy .
Internships Opportunities
Yes , internship is compulsory for the 5th year. It will be done in the general hospital itself, It will challenge our energy and knowledge and give us a lot of practical skills. After internship there is a PG exam which we have to take inorder to take admission to Master degree courses.

Campus Life
Our college regularly holds extracurricular activities like , annual sports meet , pregrads and graduation, college day and cultural fest all once in a year along with kannada Rajyotsava events. Library is well equipped. There is a huge field for sports. Projector present in all classrooms.
Hostel Facilities
Each room has 3 members , with a seperate cot and table and wardrobe provided with an attached bathroom. Meals are average, and menu doesnt change much. Hostel is very affordable. There are a lot of Pgs available nearby too.
Admission
I had applied for BMC,MMC . I couldn't get those colleges owing to my all India rank in NEET exam. There is no other reason as to why I didn't get that college , MBBS government colleges are alloted purely based on marks in the NEET exam. For MBBS , there is generally 4 final exams for the end of 4 years and the last year is for internship
Faculty
Our college has several departments, There are about 5 to 10 lecturers in each department. Pathology has the most number of lecturers. Classes take place together in a large lecture hall for all 150 students together. There are 4 exams in a year 3 internals and one finals.
Night Life
Our college has a good number of small cafes and snacks shops, gyms and medical shops nearby within a distance of 500m. The girls and boys hostel has an intimings of 7 pm. The college campus itself has a small cafeteria in the terrace . The locality is safe at night. There are no night clubs in Mandya.
