SIRMVIT life summarised

Curriculum was designed well with equal importance to theory and labs . It was relevant to the real world requirements. Exams : three internals each in a month and 1 end sem exam . Internals were easy and end sem were moderate.

The fee depends upon the mode of entrance exam. For students joining through COMED K students the fee for 2020-24 session was 2.13 lakhs per year. For Students joining through KCET the fee was 75000 per year. For students joining through management quote . The fee 2.13 lakhs+ one time management quote fee( depending upon the branch) The fee quote has a relaxation for SNQ students. The fee for SNQ students for 2020-24 was 15000 per year. Hostel FEE : 2020-24 session: 75k per year Along with these fee . Exam fees will also be charged every semester which was 1650 per semester .

Campus Life was average. There are alot of good clubs like DEBSOC, GLUG , Pirates. The ground isn't well maintained and famous area is good but needs maintenance. The College is located in the outskirts of the city so lacks connectivity a bit.

2 sharing room . Meal quality below avg. Registration process was simple . just go and select a room and pay the fee. For rented pg check areas like: Hunsmaranhalli, Baglur Alot of PG are available in nearby areas . Mostly charging 7000 for 2 sharing room.

My rank was not enough for RVCE and MSRIT for ece or cse . Also SMVIT provided good academics and placements. The admission process: entrance exam( Comed k, kcet) , counselling through the comed k portal and then fee payment.

Student to faculty ratio was 1:60, faculties were mostly polite and willing to clear your doubts when you approach them. In my department some of the facilities were really good like padmya gaytri mam. There will be 3 internals every semester and end exam both will have 40-60 weightage(2020-24) session. Exams were mostly moderately difficult.

The College has gym, library, and nearby there are burger king, dominos ,McD outlets . Hostel timings: entry is allowed till 9 P.M Hangout places: outside the college: Burger king, dominos, A2B , MCD Inside the college: canteen, coffee shop
