Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is not so tough and it is manageable and easy. The other universities demand to have studied mathematics at intermediate level. So for honours degree here there is no need of mathematics in economics. The curriculum is good and average for the real world application. The teaching methods should improve they teach only in Hindi. They should also teach in English. They should also teach in digital The teaching time is good and effective.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee is 9000 Admission fees - 6050 The fees is semester wise For first semester with Admission fees 6050 3450 for 2nd sem In 3rd semester it was 4000 The fees for batch mates is also the same I think I have got E-grantz scholarship of kerala for OBC in studying out of state in the 1st year of 8000 rupees

Campus Life

4

There are not many annual festivals or programmes , but ath the first year when the NAAC came there was cultural events. The library is a big one but the books are difficult to take and locate. The library doesn't operate every time. There are 2 smart rooms in each department There are sports activities but less. There are a number of student groups, that are abhinartan dance club, Urchins drama, chalchitra acting club, Tarang, music club. They do many student official works, and they do social activities.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are average by hearing the talks of those living in the hostel. They say in one room there are 2 students. There is a breakfast at 8 pm. lunch at 2 o clock. Snacks give samosa and tea. For hostel firstly give 22000 hostel fees for 12 months and 3 months food fee. I have rented room at koni riverview colony. It is an apartment with one kitchen and one bathroom and two bedroom and one hall.

Admission

This college was not in my list, but it gave the honours course for without mathematics. So I preferred this college above others for that. The other college asked for maths so didn't give it. The admission process was simple and They first released the merit list according to the marks of CUET. So I got 192 rank in the merit list and , they needed to be present at the first counselling. According to merit list . About 250 students where there in the merit list and out of that about 76 students got admission. The admission has strict criteria of having the TC oglf plus two and grade card , income certificate, aadhar card and fees of about 6050

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is about 1:33 for every faculty. For 33 students there is 1 teacher. The Faculties of Economics, Political science, Forestry, Physics, Library science, pharmacy, Management, Library science, Chemistry, anthropology, biotechnology, Zoology. These department faculties are good. They teach properly and solve problems if you have any. The other departments are good but they don't have a touch with my curriculum or syllabus. There are 2 internal exams of 30 marks total. In which 1st internal is written and 2nd internal is project, presentation, assignment, etc. Then there is the semester exams for 70 marks. For science students there is practical of 100 marks.

Night Life

3

There are no night life in the university. We have a big cafeteria and two canteens , we get many variety of foods but only less ingredients. There is an old gym and the library is a big one but it's infrastructure is not good. There are two or three public spaces. The locality is safe for roaming but not in the night. During night it is not that much safe but the police will be roaming at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The bachelor of arts course provides you various subjects to choose to study for your profession such as history, geography, sociology, psychology, english literature, economics, etc. I believe you must prepare yourself for the challenges this world gives you. No one will ever help you at your lowest. I believe we should have classroom with air conditioning. We have exams every month and the course is usually of 4-5 months per semester. Completing 2 semesters means you exceeded onto the next year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is accurate and relevant. It is very intriguing even and a quiet interesting. Teaching methods of the faculty is easy going. There could be a little improvement made like making the lectures a bit more interesting so that students dont get bored after a while. The frequency of the exam are apt but during end sems the time gap between one exam and another could be more as mostly there is only one day gap during two exams and it sometimes gets hard to catch up.
