Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very detailed and practical the use of practical tools and focusing on usage of these tools instead of just theory drove me to choose this course it prepares us for real world applications as we are taught tools such as python and excel using real life case studies which are relevant to the course It can be improved in areas like statistics and maths in general the frequency of our exams is every 3 months and id rathe them 3 out of 5 on a difficulty scale

Placement Experience

3

students become eligible for campus placements from sem 4 and there are a lot of companies coming to our college to give iternship to students since sem 3 the students can also continue working in these companies full time after graduation the highest package was 15lpa and average package is 6lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

year wise fees is around 2 lakh 50 thousand with scholarship benefits upto 60 thousand i pay 1 lakh 90 thousand in my second (current) year and paid 1 lakh 60 thousand in my first year while many others pay 2 lakh 10 thousand and paid 1 lakh 80 thousand with scholarship for their second and first years

Campus Life

2

The campus life is very underwhelming as there are no active clubs and events are kept to a minimal, there are sport events and extracurricular activites but they dont have active participation of students

Admission

i applied to thakur college and i didn't get rejected from there however i chose this college for its detailed curriculum, excellent faculty and the ease of travelling the admission process is mostly online with the cut off being 75% in boards and/or taking the entrance exam for our college

Faculty

4

2 exams are consucted during 1 semester, internals and externals. the course curriculum involves hands on experience based learning and the faculty is from corporate so is very helpful and knowledgeable and easily approachable faculties i liked are Gaurav Chhetiyar, Aakash singh and Awesh Bhoryna because of their way of teaching and approachability

Night Life

2

there's mcdonalds and burger king near our college where people hangout the most and the college canteen itself the locality is very safe during the night too thanks to the college being located near the goregaon police station there's a girls hostel in our college and campus timings are 7 am to 6 am

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

While searching on internet I got to know about this course that's where I earned interest for this course that made choose this course. The practical knowledge shared by the faculty at their best helps for real life applications but still practical knowledge is gained beyond college course pattern which can be gain in internships. By providing more practical knowledge beyond the theory part of the course may help students greatly by learning real life experiences. Exams are usually held by morning at the college timing (9:30 am).

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. There are campus placements but my seniors are yet to get placed. Since we are secknd batch of data science we don't know much about how is the placement for data science students. There are good placements for bms students. I will be doing master after this degree and won't opt for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the teachers who teach that. I had my siblings telling me that they love the way their teachers taught them. They make it so easy to understand and give you so much advice to grow and have great success. Also, this college is just a treasure of other curriculum activities. Once you got to know that they held those kinda functions over these years you can't resist and will participate in those functions. As it the course was difficult but teachers will make it easy they will guide you in any problem that you have and encourage you to learn more skills so you can be more successful.
