Remarks

I think management should put more facilities in respect with the fees we are paying. Positive thing is beaches nearby pollution is less and you can roam freely here as the place is safe and people are also very nice but negativity is about only about management food should be improved main thing and Infrastructures is improving but slowly and patient in flow is quite less which should increase in coming few years

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It's good in accordance with rguhs. There are 3 internal assessments and 1 final university paper in each year.. Minimum passing marks are 50%. And then there are practical exam for each subject for which also 50% passing marks are required.

Placement Experience

3.5

Mbbs degree is enough for us to get a job without any interview or open our own clinic anywhere that's the benefit of mbbs. Yes, actually mbbs degree is only obtained after doing 1 year internship. We have to work for whole 365 days in order to complete the internship. It's a tiring process but the most crucial part as doctor are made in their internship only they gain practical knowledge.

College Events

3.5

Every festival bring events in our college. The best one is of Holi. Then we have our college fest called chiasma in which many competitions are organised and its fun along with sports and related activitied.. We have beach games also which are amazing.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure can be divided according to quota the student has sort his admission Government seat- 70k per annum Tulu quota, open quota- 7 lacs per annum Management - 14/15 lacs per annum So yeah it's expensive but cheaper compared to other mbbs colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nope our college doesn't provide any loan facility but the thing is a we can avail the loan facility from the state government it depends upon the marks which we got in the previous year if it is more than the 75% or appropriate marks then we can avail the scholarship that is around 20 to 25000 something

Campus Life

3.5

very good actually the thing is in MBBS practicals are done so we have Laboratories for each and every subject which are equipped with each instrument that are used to perform a clinical for example like we have pathology lab microbiology lab and for anatomy dissection halls are there physiology lab which consists of clinical and hematology mean there are 19 subjects and 19 labs are there then sports facilities included you can play volleyball cricket football and indoor games like table tennis and gym facility is also there but it is not up to that mark

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Yes. Rooms are fine but food is not good. Facilities include one bed one cupboard book shelves attached toilet and bathroom. Overall rooms are nice to stay. There is regular cleaning by workers.. The problem is with food. It's not good at all.

Alumni/Alumna

The senior students are very helpful in like a ragging is not allowed in our college so ragging is not there too much some kind of introduction is there basically when freshers join. Some of the senior students who are pass out the join our hospital and they help internship students to understand things better and they are actually good doctors very helpful in things with academic and also help in extra curricular activities and quiz competitions going on over the places so they are very good

Faculty

4.5

It's good there are 19 subjects in total with atleast 3-4 teachers in each subject. Faculty of 1st year is amazing.. 2nd year also is good. Don't about 3rd and 4th year much as i am a 2nd year student.. Though we have clinical postings in which we are taught by these teachers and they do a good job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
