Course Curriculum Overview

5

I've always been wanted to be a person who wants to know more about the world and that's what made me choose this course. They mainly focus on the real world base and not focus on the text everytime and so i would say my preparation for the future is going on well so far. Im still on my learning process so there is nothing i can suggest about the corrections. Exam timings are all set and we go along with it strictly

Fees and Financial Aid

Since it's government runed college we paid 1200 only for the whole year on the day of admission. There are no fees for such facilities to be paid for State merit scholarships are available for students. The scholarship amounts comes around 12000

Campus Life

5

The annual festival like winter fest and soring fest and summer fest are held in our college considering the months they fall on. All the books best suited for science students are all found in our library. We also have a project on our classroom. I would rate a perfect 10/10 for the extracurricular activities and sports. Yes there are many social groups and clubs like music band , nss, ncc, evangelical union and many more.

Admission

The other college which i applied for zunheboto government college and got a confirmed admission they even called me up but like the facilities out there was not good and so i had to choose kohima science College. So basically i never got rejected The admission was all based on first comes first and so i somehow managed to get in even with low percentage

Faculty

5

In my opinion they are the best ones I've ever come across because they are friendly and at the same time strict and we can approach them at any time of the day To be honest there is no particular teacher i hate nor love but instead i love them all equally they are the best

Night Life

5

That's the best part of the day because this is where all friends gather and hang out at night. It doesn't mean we have all those bad stuffs instead we are all religious and the reason we go t out is to have fun and relax ourselves after a rough day. There are no timings set aswell like we have to get back to hostel before 8pm and no visitors after 6pm. I usually visit the library as i love reading alot and hang out with friends on nearby restaurants and cafeteria. Yes, it is safe to hang out at night in our locality because there are no drunkards because jotsoma is a tobacco free campus

I am so much into developing so i chose this computer science course which will be quite helpful for my future. The curriculum prepares me really well, i also learnt new features to develop new app which i am working on it. A little improvement should be made in the computers in the lab. The timing of exams is 3 hours which is a lengthy hour for us to complete our exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the subject (Chemistry) because it is interesting in a way. We get to know many new things. The teachers doesn't care much about preparing us for any such pursuits. There is need for improvements in many curriculums and teaching methods. The class starts by 9AM in the morning and ends by 2:30PM in the afternoon.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, the curriculum had 0 impact on my decision like most students do? Like i said the curriculum has a good blend of all the topics a physics should should be good at and has a healthy number of important practicals as well to prepare us for the real world Well, i would adopt a modern method of teaching using slides and videos in a projector instead of the classic white board and pen especially for the topics of physics which require images and well drawn images and processes to fully understand it The frequency of exam is low.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find Zoology a very fun subject. It is the study of animals, both living and extinct, including their anatomy, embryology, genetics, habits, and many more. The faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They're easy to approach and not only that their teachings are good. They're always ready to help when we're in need. For the science stream, there is a practical exam before the final theory exam. Also, the class test depends upon the respective professors of each stream. The exam question papers were issued by the NU board and not by the college. The question paper is average. It also depends on how well you prepare for the exam.
