The courses offered in this college are B.Sc, B.A,B.Sc(Hons), B.A (Hons). All the courses are of semester based and internals and externals exams are conducted every semester which even includes practicals and assignments.

The placements in this college are not conducted as this is simply a degree college and not a professional college. Hence the placement opportunities in this college are not there and no internships are conducted by this college.

The fee structure is feasible for every person who is interested in admissions in this college. The fees for every course in this college is approximately Rs. 12000 - 13000 which is feasible and students can pay it easily.

Competitions such as debate, quiz, sports, etc are conducted in our college from time to time. Every year even fest is conducted in our college which is organised by the students. The college even have well equipped labs where students can perform their practicals.

Interested students can apply online for this college. After submitting the application form merit list is generated by college after sometime and this merit list is based on 10+2 marks. Depending on this merit list admissions are allotted in this college.

An observation form my side..

Likes

The college provides bus which is really good.. for the day scholar
Their are Various programs held in the college which is a very good opportunity for the students to showcase their skills or talents and also there are program in which resource person comes and share their thoughts.
The college environment is really good.. as it is filled with tress,flowers etc... it's refreshing to freshen our minds too

Dislikes

But though they provide bus .. the time is also very inconvenient.. the college needs more bus as the number of students are increasing.
The toilets are not good.. it needs to be developed
They don't have the best scientific equipment for labs.

The curriculum course are good .. as not for me .. the ones im interested in are not there... But for the others it has benefited alot of the students .. They should add various more course curriculum The exams timings are fine...

Likes

I appreciate the college environment as it is quite peacful for studies.
People are really good here both the juniors and the seniors including the teaching faculties
Teachers are highly qualified and very friendly.

Dislikes

There is less functions held in this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am so much into developing so i chose this computer science course which will be quite helpful for my future. The curriculum prepares me really well, i also learnt new features to develop new app which i am working on it. A little improvement should be made in the computers in the lab. The timing of exams is 3 hours which is a lengthy hour for us to complete our exams.

Likes

Classmates and the chilling environment in the campus
The books available in the library and the Cherry Blossoms
My circle of friends and seniors in the campus

Dislikes

The washrooms are very dirty and it's so disappointing
The Ksc doesn't give proper information ahead
I dislike the cold weather and the rough wind in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the subject (Chemistry) because it is interesting in a way. We get to know many new things. The teachers doesn't care much about preparing us for any such pursuits. There is need for improvements in many curriculums and teaching methods. The class starts by 9AM in the morning and ends by 2:30PM in the afternoon.

An overview of patkai from a non-biased lens

Likes

Lots of seminars to raise awareness on important topics and to critically analyse on topics that the students or community should know to take the nation forward
Workshops on skill training such as Home wiring and electrical circuits, processing of banana fibre to make bags etc which the students can sign up

Dislikes

Don't have the best scientific equipments for laboratories/practicals
No flexible timing and availability of bus.Confined to one bus trip for all the day scholars which is absurd, when im paying for my bus fee but have to spend my money to go back home since my classes end early and can't wait for 2-3 hours for bus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, the curriculum had 0 impact on my decision like most students do? Like i said the curriculum has a good blend of all the topics a physics should should be good at and has a healthy number of important practicals as well to prepare us for the real world Well, i would adopt a modern method of teaching using slides and videos in a projector instead of the classic white board and pen especially for the topics of physics which require images and well drawn images and processes to fully understand it The frequency of exam is low.

They held alotta events and also gives opportunities to the students to participate

Dislikes

Well I hate that they do not give our marksheets or any kind of forms to our department instead we have to make a long line inorder to get the forms or marksheet

Well I chose this course because I was interested but looking at it It's actually tough learning zoology The core paper increases and the difficulty increases more We haven't appear our exam yet but I know that this semester exams will be tough

Reminiscing my College days

Likes

I like the environment of the college ...which is very peaceful
The college is one of the top colleges in Nagaland. The laboratory is one of the place i like too
I like the lecturers and the way of teaching

Dislikes

The road conditions is poor. Which is undergoing construction
Senior student usually practice bullying the freshers...i will say ragging which is bad
It is a place where students get free exposure to drugs and things

Specially not about the curriculum of course that i choose for ...i choose on my own will...the teaching methods is very good ...the teacher teach at their best level...the exams are done on the mids of semester and at the end of semester.

A good college with well educated and friendly faculties.

Likes

The office staffs were very friendly and so open minded
The teaching faculties were very understanding and easy to approach
The infrasture is good and there is gym as well on the top floor

Dislikes

The college compound is too small and less privacy from the neighbours
The cafeteria can be improved with more items

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find Zoology a very fun subject. It is the study of animals, both living and extinct, including their anatomy, embryology, genetics, habits, and many more. The faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They're easy to approach and not only that their teachings are good. They're always ready to help when we're in need. For the science stream, there is a practical exam before the final theory exam. Also, the class test depends upon the respective professors of each stream. The exam question papers were issued by the NU board and not by the college. The question paper is average. It also depends on how well you prepare for the exam.

Placement Experience:

Not quite sure about the campus placement. The education dept, agriculture dept, social welfare society come for recruiting an interested student to apply for this post. My plan after my graduation is to try in military forces.
