Course Curriculum Overview

I don't know about any specific curriculum about my college because don't go regularly. Improvements that can be made in teaching is making attendance compulsory, regular activities, etc. so that students find a way to get to college

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Main college fees is 5000 per year. Tuition fees is 500 and casual fees is also 500 and i don't know about lab fees, and other charges. About scholarships there are many scholarship for students of every college in West Bengal by the governor of total 10000 per year

Campus Life

My overall experience in this campus have been very well as I didn't face any bully or any other things. And sports that's are played in my college are also very good I play along with them when I go there.

Admission

I always wanted to join an evening college so that I can work part time at day and attend college in evening so this college was my priority and if not this college it would have been city college or ND college because these college are way too close from my house.

Faculty

The student ratio is very low in our college it's like 10:2 ratio of student. Our college doesn't require any attendance compulsory. The exams we have every 4 months like internals and sem exam. We also have monthly assignment.

Night Life

Around our college there's a metro station and there are many libraries there so that we can go read or rent books there apart from libraries there are many food stalls many cafés and bazar for shopping

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. the reality of kd college

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am from Commerce background so I need to make my career on this way so I choose this course . The faculty and student receive is not good the students and the faculty ratio is 10 : 5 The faculties are educated from various university and institutes they know everything but they are unable to delivered them to us as because they are some aggressive attitude. In every six months there is a semester and it is very difficult to pass if you don't study anything from the first.

A place to develop skills

If you get 58% marks minimum in 12th then you are invisible honours for this college. All the admission process has been taken in online mode and also the payment of 4560 admission fee and after that, we have admission in this college.
