Sometimes the results takes more time than usual to be displayed. Also sometimes the exam answer sheets are not evaluated properly. As a result we have to give the answer sheet for grievance which costs Rs 500 per sheet. This amount should be a bit lower.

Since the college is an autonomous institution affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University, the college has its own course curriculum and can bring changes to the curriculum.The toughness of course depends upon the ability of the student. Same in the case of Exam structure. There are two mid semester exams, 15 marks each and an end semester exam for 60 marks per semester and the remaining 10 marks are given as internal marks by the faculty.The 10 marks are divided as 4 marks each for assignment and online quiz examination and 2 marks for attendance above 75%.

The placements are quite well in my college. Nearly every student registered for placement facility gets the placement. My college is quite famous in Nagpur region in case of placement facilities. Regarding the internships,yes the college also give internship opportunities to meritorious as well as to the deserving students. For IT department the internship is made a compulsion for all the students and the internship is given by the college itself while for other departments the internship intake is from 20-25 students per department.These students are chosen on the basis of their academics and sometimes interest too. The stipend depends upon the company which is offering the internship programme. Sometimes it is given but many a times not.

Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering organizes one of the best and glamorous college event in Nagpur ie YASH. This comprises of Fresher's, Traditional Day,Bhairavi,Dancing and Singing Competition. This is a 5-6 day event. Other events are the technical events which is organised by each department in the month of August. For example the department of Electronics Engineering organizes the event ICON.

The fee structure is same as that of other Engineering Colleges i.e. 1.3L. The fees depends upon the the caste to which the students belong. Open caste students have to pay full fees while OBC caste students have to pay half fees. The fees also depends upon the family income. The family income decides if their should be a tution fee waiver to the student's fees. Overall the fees is feasible.

Yes, I have taken admission under the government scholarship programme for OBC students. In this, the students get a 50% waiver on their tution fees. A loan facility is also available for students by the Tirupati Bank which is located in the college campus.

There are various extracurricular activities organised in the college. One auch example is SPANDAN in which thhe students can present their research papers and various awards are also given to them. Also there are labs present for each requirements in the engineering course. Sports week is also organised before the YASH event which has games like Cricket, Volleyball,Handball etc.These all are organised on a very large scale and coming to college becomes more interesting during this.

Yes, I do live in the college hostel. The facilities given by the hostel are well and good.The only lagging factor is the food. The food is the worst part in the college hostel. The hostel has a very good infrastructure. It consists of a very big play ground,a basketball court, a table tennis and a computer section of itself.

Yes, there is a special facility for student alumni interaction and it is very beneficial to the students. The alumni cell in the college is very beneficial for the students and always stay in touch to the alumni students so that they can help the present studying students for their future endeavours be it regarding placements, any start-ups or even for their post graduation. This is very helpful as they have already gone through the processes and makes it easier for us to pursue further in life.

The faculty is very experienced one in my department i.e. Electronics Engineering. The first year faculty is also good. Many faculties have a Phd and the remaining are M.tech graduates. All the HOD's have Phd. The faculty are very friendly too. They doesn't put any pressure on the students instead they help the students in every possible academic problem.
