Course Curriculum Overview

The course follows a very interesting and wide curriculum that covers all the major areas that is needed to mould you to be perfect professional. The course has good job opportunities in the present and future.

Class Size: 76Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Placement Experience

Good placements are available in this college compared all the engineering colleges in Kerala that is one of the reason I chose this college for this particular course. College has a good placement unit.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees to be paid per year is around Rs.9000. Including examination and tution fees. Registration fee was around 8000. And I donot recieve any scholarships and financial aids at the moment. I am not aware about any other scholarships.

Campus Life

There are plenty of technical fests and cultural fests in our college along with department fest also. The main technical feat is Drishti and cultural fest is Dhwani. Both the fests are well celebrated fest of South India.

Admission

This college is one of the best college of Engineering in Kerala. This specific course of industrial engineering is only in this particular college in Kerala. So I chose this college over any other colleges.

Faculty

Our college has strong faculty. The faculties are well educated and qualified. The exam system follows 2 internals followed by the end semester exam. The exams are quite easy to follow with a regular study routine.

Interview Experience

We didn't have any Group discussions or Interviews for admission. The entrance to the college is purely based on an entrance test and higher secondary marks. It is merit based but have reservations for different categories

Night Life

The college provides a well equipped gym, affordable cafeteria/canteen and public areas gor leisure time. The Hostel closes at 9:30pm providing time for night life. The locality is well lit for night life and it is quite safe for roaming with friends.

Students are eligible for internship from final year. Last year students were offered internship at Litmus7. The average pack is 6Lakhs per anum the college assures that above 90% students will get placed, and they make sure to do everything they can to help us with it.

One of the best college with friends what i have got

Placement Experience:

We do have placement training in all the semesters to train the students by the end of 4th year. I find it really intresting because it helps to improve our interative skills. Yes we do have good placements here most of our seniors got placed in good companies with a good amount being paid.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More

Good the questions are well organised and quality of questions were good

This college rank first in kerala and is well known for its teaching and other cocurricular activities thus i prefer cet.
