The proffessors have done PHD according to their specification.Course was updated recently and academics are great, faculties are also really great but, on the other side can be rough towards students , some of them atleast . Try to stay clear of them as much as u you can . language barrier can be a factor if you are not from Kerala.

Placements of cusat are more than average.Almost all people get placement from the campus .many companies visited this year like Vieston,L&T,Reliance ,Soty, EY,merilitics ,Technook,TCS , Cognizant etc Most of the company allow to sit for the Placement if the cgpa is greater than 7. You need to clear backlogs, also need to have DSA and course related knowledge for most low-level interview .

The fee vary for every semester. Like the every sem Rs.47000-51000 including exam and other fees.This is the fee only for Academics and for all india merit list student, Other student keralites it is around 30000 to 35000. It doesn't include hostel and mess fee which is 500 rs per month . The fee is half for the state quota and the for reservation people the fee is different. Placement of this college is more than average. Almost 60-80% people got Placement from here. The placement has descreased from the past few years.Most of the company allow to sit for the Placement if the cgpa is greater than 7. Companies that visited this year are Visteon,Merilitics ,IBM , TCS,EY ,VAN,wanverg, Reliance ,SOTY, Technology ,Cognizant ,L&T etc. Girls scholarships and opportunities are very much available anyone can get, including some for boys also mostly keralites.

THE REGISTRATION WILL BE THROUGH CUSAT HOSTEL PAGE AND EVERYTHING IS NICE WARDEN IS NICE , IF U GET CHANCE JUST GET INTO THIS JOURNEY,I BET YOU WILL NEVER REGRET. fees is very much less 500 per month , with mess fees 3000-3500. but still food is not good as the mess handling doesnot handle the mess properly.

I was getting HBTU kanpur, EEE and , Here i was getting CSE, and i had interest in computer back then hence i chose this. We did have to give an exam called CUSAT CAT which was containing questions related to math physics and chemistry , math was given twice as priority as the other 2 individually . Your are allotted branches according to the marks you manage to score

I choose BTech in computer Science here because this is one of the best branch of cusat .Almost all faculty are PhD holders and they taught us very well . All the faculty here is very highly qualified but some of the teachers having boring way of teaching. Semester exams occurs on every diet months . The document level is not that much hard but sometimes they set very tough questions.The back to back papers ,lab and assignment somtimes frustrates you. The attendance is 75% minimum for writing the exam sometimes it is difficult to manage the attendance.

No restriction but for girls hostel. last night activities to get permission depends on place, gym is open thill 8:30 evening. boys Hostel doesnot have any nearby market to buy stuffs from. College is closed you're not allowed to enter until unless permitted, some mechanical labs are open during night.
