Course Curriculum Overview

Starting with more of theory they get us to practicals but the theory also involves subjects like laws which we should learn and would implement in our lives so one should consider this university regarding curriculum

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 28000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements are offered by the college but it totally depends on you if you would want to take it or pass. Placements also depends on your capabilities and strategies which should be good to tackle situations

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee started from 22000 to 29000 now and as panjab University have affiliated colleges Fee vary with different colleges Mine is semi government, proper government ones have less fees Exam fees is 3000 which is different from total and they charge 900 honours fees differently. But it is a nice option to opt as it is a recognised university and takes admission on merit based

Campus Life

My overall campus life till now has been very well. It gave me a boost in every aspect of my life possible. You get to know a lot about people, about opportunities and about activities which you haven't heard yet

Admission

This college provides you good crowd and better extra curriculum activities to boost your confidence and which helps you tackle the interviewers while applying for placements. It provides you proper strategies

Faculty

Faculties are very understanding and sweet. They do take initiative to make students score good and teach very well. They are easy to approach and help students in every way possible. One can count on faculties while in difficulty

Night Life

I honestly don't know much about the night life as I am not a hosteller and lives nearby so I travel on daily basis to college but as I have heard hostellers are not allowed after specified time limit

Dav college 2025 real review

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is not hard ofcourse but it's pretty old fashioned and non modernistic . No technology inculcation in the curriculum. Difficulty level is not much . There should be modernisation of the curriculum. More technology inclusion . More tech based learning . More practical education.

THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

We do have a training and placement cell which is run mostly run by both students and teachers. Students with good percentile can sit for placements and can get place into companies which are mostly from BPO and sales background. Students are eligible for campus placements in their 5th semester. Companies which have came in our college in 2024-2025 are Sri ram insurance , Kotak insurance , Planet spark , De shaw , Zomato etc. Highest package offered is around 5 LPA and average package is around 1.5 LPA. I have planned to go for higher studies after my graduation, most probably I will be doing MBA.

Application for this college is easy process. You just need to fill a form from dhe.chd.gov.in for which you have to pay very nominal fee ( i paid 70rs in 2023). Teaching methods are okay.likr there's so such thing that college is in Chandigarh so better teachers or something.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like tech mahindra, airtel, delloitte,etc visited for campus Placements. The highest package this year was 9 Lakhs. And average package this year was 6 lakhs. Near around 97% students got campus placement. After getting degree my plan is to opt for MBA in finance from a good reputed college .
