Perks of cracking IIM, Nagpur

The course curriculum is highly relevant, focusing on contemporary topics like digital transformation, AI and sustainability. Exams are frequent and challenging, testing both conceptual understanding and applications. The curriculum is demanding, requiring effective management.

So, in IIM, Nagpur fees for the course goes term wise and the whole lump sum amount is around 20,00,000 for 2 years. It's upto your pocket that whether you want to pay it by yourself or want to go with loan offered by banks. Yes, they do offer scholarships for the students. So they have 2 types of Scholarships - Merit-based and Need cum merit-based. The tution fees offered is 100% i.e. a whole financial aid. Merit-based scholarship is like the people who have percentile above 95%ile only they can apply for the same, they also have to maintain their CGPA above 7 out of 10. Now, Talking about Need cum Merit-based, your percentile must be above 50%ile, your income must be below 8 lakhs per anum, you have to maintain your CGPA above 6 out of 10. There's not any difference in fees for category students and non category, you can only apply for scholarship. On the basis of your documents and interview you'll get the fee waiver.

A wide of range of books are available in the library. Almost every book is there, if not they assure us that it will be there soon. Also, they provide us online version and subscription for the different newspapers so that we can read. Our classrooms has projectors, a perfect board with lights, the seats with names are arranged in the way that we can have a good communication with our professors. We also have mics in our classes for the communication purpose only. Talking about fests we have Trangerine Tails which happens in end of November and that is an academic club fest in which different speakers come, different activities and case competitions happens. IIM, Nagpur is a pool of extracurricular activitities and Sports activities you can play any sport you want to play and do whaterver you want to do like event management, singing, dancing.

Apart from IIM, Nagpur I applied for NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO and other IIMs too. I converted IIM Vishakhapatnam, IIM Trichy, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Ranchi, NIT Trichy, IIIT Lucknow, SRCC GBO AIR 14th. I chose IIM, Nagpur over other colleges because the alumni network, faculty and the perk of scholarship. I didn't get into TISS, may be I did not focus properly in my exams due to too many distractions. First, you'll get call from college, then your interview will be conducted and after interview you'll get your admission letter.

At IIM, Nagpur, the faculty-to-student ratio is conductive to personalized learning, with faculty members being approachable and open to discussions. The faculty-student relationship is strong, with professor providing valuable insights and mentorships. Dr. Nilesh Gupta, Prof. Neerpal Rathi and Prof Ranjitha Ma'am is very helpful and guiding. Exams are challenging but fair, with a mix of case studies and written tests. The course curriculum is highly relevant, aligning with industry trends, though we have sometimes to struggle for demand in assessments.

My favorite hangout spots are Kahanni cafe and Sports complex. These places are always bustling with students which is great for networking and sharing of information the most at these places. Also these places are very safe and also helps keep my mind clear and fresh. Hostel and campus timings are 12 AM.
