- The campus is very beautiful and the amenities we have here is tremendous. The greenery and facilities like gardens, lawns, sports complex, badminton court with all these we can go and feel relaxed. We have yoga room also in which we can meditate.
- Faculty is very helping. The way teachers consults us is very nice. Also, we have private consulting sessions with our teachers which can help us to rouge our career.
- Diversity, the diversity we have here in academic background, culture gives us a sense of happiness as we celebrate each and every festival here irrespective of the region you belong.
Dislikes
- Inclusivity, some you have exclusivity from all groups which demotivates you and you have to stand up again with your own efforts.
- The hectic schedule, like sometimes we did not even get the time for sleep. In initial days we got only 2 hours per day to sleep.
- The place is away from main city due to which sometimes it become hard to order things or to chill if we want to get our of the campus.

- I absolutely love the interpersonal growth that I have noticed in myself after attending IIM Nagpur. IIM Nagpur provides an altogether new outlook on not just the career but on life as a whole.
- I attended the college when it was still running from the temporary campus, it was very comfortable and homely. Now a new campus has come up in MIHAN and it one of the bests in. India.
- The course is rigorous and teaches time management to its core. Greta experience!

- I was a mid covid batch, attended the 2nd year online, the experience could have been better.

- The student background is very diverse. Students with high CAT percentile are there. Students who have previously worked at Big MNCs , Big fours like EY Deloitte etc are there. Freshers are from reputed colleges who have been toppers in their batches
Dislikes
- The placement is not not very good considering its an IIM. It's a baby iim so it's understandable. It is improving. Secondly the companies are mostly startups and not big firms.

- The infrastructure which is very well made and all the provided facilities
- The professors are highly educated and sincere
- The opportunities such as various case competitions
Dislikes
- The campus is very far from the city which makes it difficult to explore the business around the surroundings
- The placements were good last year but due to harsh economic conditions this year very few good companies are visiting the campus
- Some faculties are visiting it get's hard to meet them in person after class

Is IIM Nagpur good for freshers or not since I have heard that the max batch is experienced (I converted)?
When considering which MBA program to attend, it is important to not rely solely on hearsay and to research different options thoroughly. While it is true that many students at IIM Nagpur have work experience, this is not the case for all students. If an individual is not comfortable working with students who have work experience, it is suggested to explore other options, or even wait a year and take the CAT 2021 exam in the hopes of securing a spot in an even better IIM.
It's important to note that as a fresher, there are some challenges that one may face when studying among a large number of work-experienced students. These challenges could include being perceived as less experienced, having ideas and answers dismissed, or being passed over for leadership roles in group projects. This is why, it's essential to evaluate one's own comfort level, strengths, and weaknesses and decide accordingly. Furthermore, it's not a one-size-fits-all solution and different individuals may have different reasons to prefer one institute over the other.
Is IIM Nagpur good for giving placements in Nagpur?
IIM Nagpur is currently one of the fastest-growing institutes among the new IIMs and has been making significant efforts to increase its batch size, academic programs, and placement opportunities. This is evident in the strong placement statistics that the institute has been able to achieve. According to media reports, the 2021-23 batch of the flagship MBA program at IIM Nagpur successfully completed its placement drive, with the highest package offered to be INR 64 LPA, and the average and median packages standing at INR 16.74 LPA and INR 16.85 LPA, respectively.
Over 100 top companies participated in the placement drive, including well-known firms such as Microsoft, Adani, ICICI Bank, and Bank of America. Furthermore, the IT & Consulting sectors and the ITES & BFSI sectors emerged as the leading sectors for placements, accounting for over 70% of the total placements from the 2021-23 batch.
IIM Nagpur is also expanding its field immersion programs to various countries such as Japan, South Korea, France, and Dubai, in addition to its student exchange program. This can present better opportunities for students in multinational companies this year. For people considering an MBA program and looking for an institute, IIM Nagpur would be a great option for considering, especially for those who have job experience of over a year, as it provides a great opportunity for growth. It's not as good as the older IIMs (BLACKI IIMs) but could be a good next-best option.
