Course Curriculum Overview
Every Faculty was a fellow of Doctorate Programmes from IIMs mostly with a good years of industry experience or teaching experience. Term Exams were designed in such a way that how much we're adapting to the training that we've received from our Professor from time to time and relative grading performance was there. If you're good with your attendance and regularly doing all the assignments, projects, and readings given, you'll easily sail through the exams with flying colors.
Internships Opportunities
Every other unicorn and large corporate offers you internships in business development, marketing, operations, and strategy field. To name a few, lenskart, OfBusiness, ICICI Lombard, HDFC Bank, Mapro, Old with an average stipend of 100000/ month.
Placement Experience
Placements at our college are 100% and for the last 3 batches, it has been completed well before the start of the passing out batch final term. Bain, Microsoft, and every other large corporate or a good MNC visit campus to find out the best industry talent.
Fees and Financial Aid
The present Fee of my College is 18 lakhs for the PGP MBA course. This gives you a plethora of opportunities to explore in terms of short-duration internships to be equipped with the right industrial knowledge before sitting for placements. Now they've started scholarships for Meritorious students and students from economically weaker sections to support deserving students.
Campus Life
Annual Cultural Festival - ZMF and Tech Fest - Tangerine Trails was started by our batch in coherence with our seniors and juniors. There were different houses/teams for sports activities. Academic and Non-Academic Clubs were formed to keep college life trendy and classy with what going on in the present world
Hostel Facilities
Meal Quality was pretty satisfactory and their menu was the catch of eye as for every occasion, big or small, you'll find a dedicated cuisine for the foodies out there. Indoor Sports and Gym Facility was given to the students on campus to make recreational a part of their daily routine.
Admission
The admission Process at my time was full of options. There was a CAP - Common Admission Process for 11 IIMs which were mostly 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation IIMs apart from IIM Nagpur, IIM Visakhapatnam, and IIM Amritsar. I got a call from every IIM for flagship PGP - MBA apart from IIM A and IIM B. Based on my score of IIM C and IIM K, I got direct admission to IIM Nagpur for the 2018-20 batch. Now the process has been pretty streamlined with the clear-cut subject-wise cutoffs and overall cutoffs mentioned immediately after CAT results. Applicants can directly apply and based on their merit they'll get a call for the interview and on the basis of their performance they'll get the final seat.
Interview Experience
Yes, I gave interviews to the panelists and participated in Group Discussions and Writing Ability Tests. I took guidance from the Career Launcher Online Platform. Group Discussion Topic was related to Agriculture as there was some trending news related to farmers at that time. Written Ability Test keeps a check on our articulation abilities as to how good are we in presenting our point of view. For interview preparation, I used to give mock interviews with my counselor.
