Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course for better career opportunities and to develop leadership skills that can help me in my corporate life. The faculties here are well qualified in their field and use case study approaches to teach.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Adani, Aditya Birla capital, IBM, ICICI Bank, Vedanta, MI Xiaomi, etc., and many other prominent firms come to campus for providing summer internship opportunities. The roles offered are also very diverse.
Placement Experience
Many companies are coming for summer placement as well as final placement. Some of them are Microsoft, Adani, ICICI Bank, IBM, KPMG, etc., and many other big firms. The average placement for the 2021-23 batch is 16.74 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is 1890000. There are various scholarships available you can find on the IIM Nagpur website. The best scholarship is ten students with 95+ percentile in CAT are eligible for the director's merit scholarship and with this scholarship, their entire fee will be waived.
Campus Life
There are 20 clubs and committees at IIM Nagpur. We are also given subscriptions to the Economic Times, new york times, NDLI, etc. The sports complex here is one of the best sources of entertainment. They also have a proper tennis court, yoga hall, badminton court, basketball court, and football court. Even the gym here is at par with the professional gyms. Hostel Facilities
The hostel is single occupancy with almost all the facilities one needs in a hostel. The hostels are new with good infrastructure and facilities. The services and management provided by IIM Nagpur are appreciated as it makes the life of students very easy. The mess food is also up to the mark.
Admission
IIM Nagpur admission minimum criteria for a general candidate is 95 percentile overall in CAT and 65 percentile in each section. I liked their admission process as from the start till the end they followed a very smooth process.
Interview Experience
The personal interview round was focused on my undergraduate academics and hygiene questions related to management. I prepared this by reading newspapers daily and giving mock PI at my coaching institute.
