Likes
- The campus is equipped with mordern amenities including well maintained classrooms,labs,libraries which provide conductive environment for learning
- Campus location is pretty good and has direct connectivity with metro. Nearest metro station is dwarka mor and is in 10-15 min walk from main gate
- The campus is huge and is very green. Nsut also has an active cultural scene with events like techfest annual fest and sports tournaments
Dislikes
- Strict attendance policies. You have to maintain 75 percent attendance and no relaxation will be given.
- Limited hostels. Many students have to stay off campus in pgs or face long waiting lists
- The campus can feel overcrowded especially during peak hours with large number of students in classes,libraries and common areas
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently in 1st semester and we are having 5 subjects with one electives. The curriculum is mix of core and mordern topics guided mu choice, balancing theory and practical skills. Prepare well for industry, but more hands on project and updated teaching method could help
Fees and Financial Aid
For netaji subhash university of technology delhi, the annual tuition fee for B.Tech program for 1st year is 245000. I am currently in first year and a day scholar. If you're willing to take hostels then you have to pay the hostel fees separately. There is no relaxation of fees for sc/st but there are many scholarships programs available for them in edistrict and national scholarships potal. The process of paying fees is in two sets. First you have to pay 95000 while accepting your seat in jac delhi that is your seat acceptance fees. And the rest 150000 has to be paid while taking admission. The entire payment will be in online mode.
Campus Life
Campus life in nsut is vibrant and fun. We just had so recently had some events like bollywood day, resonance that is our freshers party. We had nsutthon and we also have moksha coming up in march. Here in nsut we have so many social clubs for diffre People. We have diff Clubs for music, tech clubs and social service club and events organising clubs
Admission
I chose nsut for its reputation and its capability of providing good placements. Admission were based on jee and i was getting the best according to my rank here that is IT. The admission process is through jac coucelliing based on our jee rank
Faculty
NSUT generally maintains a reasonable faculty to students ratio. Though it can vary by department. The nsut faculty is generally approachable and most professors are cool and lenient but you may find some professors to be very strict. There are 2 semester in each year. Consisting of midsem and end sem. The exams are generally moderate to tough. While the difficulty of the paper may vary from person to person. Most of the students get average marks. The checking of the paper is also not very strict.
Night Life
Nightlife near nsut is lively yet balanced. Cafeterias close around 10pm and the library and gym shut early. Hostels have set in times around 9 to 10 pm. Popular spots include vegas mall that is a go to place for nsutians. All this add chill vibes where students unwind, adding a refreshing social side to campus life
