Remarks

Overall, I found my college best. But it could have been more loving if people here would love to interact more. This is not true for all. There are interacting persons here as well. But their proportion is low. Also, in this huge college, you can find a lot of persons matchable with your interests and thoughts.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course Curriculum is quite wide. I am pursuing B. Tech in CSE. The curriculum here makes you understand the vast field of CSE so that you can find your area of interest. Exams have continually happened. There are different weightage for the exams happening throughout the semester. They have mid sem, end sem, quizzes in the semester.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and Job Opportunities are best over here. Almost every student get placed in companies at the end of their course other than students who are interested in pursuing higher education and research. Most of the world's top companies recruit from my college. Also, there are a lot of internship opportunities available through the college. Most people end up doing an internship in their 2nd and 3rd years. Overall experience is good. Stipend provided varies from company to company. It varies from 10k per month to 100k in internships.

College Events

3.5

There are many events celebrated in my college. There is at least a big festival for each genre. Cultural - Mood Indigo Technology - Techfest Social Cause - Abhyuday Entrepreneurship - E Summit Arts - Kaladarshan Dramatics - PAF and Theatrefest. Along with these each club and hostel here celebrates its own festival. They are the biggest of their kind all over India. Mood Indigo and Techfest receive more than 1 lac footfall every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees Structure is - Tuition fee - 2,00,000 Hostel Fee - 18,800 Mess Fee - 44,000 Other charges - 15,000(approx) Fees are expensive here. But if you are good at academics, then there is a criterion for scholarships that helps you in paying this heavy fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Gen/Obc, MCM Scholarship is there which provide you tuition waiver,i.e., 2,00,000 Rs along with 30k-40k for your yearly expenses. For SC/ST students, they are already exempted from tuition fees. Also, the Mess Refund Scholarship is available for them. They can get their paid money back for food if they have been selected for the scholarship. It is worth 44k.

Campus Life

4

They have top-class facilities available not only in academics even in sports and music also. In academic terms, they have the world's top equipment available for the faculty and students. Sports facilities are way better than any college. They have indoor and outdoor grounds for almost all sports including two top-class gyms. For other co-curricular activities, they have a special place dedicated to them, like the dramatics room, music room also. It is such an excellent college in these terms.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostels here are very old. That's why hostel infrastructure is not good here. There are 16 hostels currently here along with 2 more hostels under construction. Hostel 1 to 9 are almost 50 years old. So, they are not too good. But hostels 10 to 16 recently build. Therefore, they are excellent in infrastructure and facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, they are very helpful. You can anytime contact any of your seniors to get your problems cleared, whether it is emotional or academic. My college also has an alumni center that keeps in contact with all of the alumni which adds a perk to the college.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is good and had great knowledge. But I found a point missing. Transfer of knowledge is not that much efficient as it should be. All the faculty members are excellent in their area of research but most students didn't take out the advantage of their presence.
