Likes

The infrastructure is pretty good. The campus as a whole is big. They provide all the basic amenities.
The placement cell of this college is top notch as they are dedicated to make every students placed.

Dislikes

Engagement with campus life is a little lesser i would say but then it is solely based on their own perception.

Course Curriculum Overview

The frequency and timing of exams there are exams for two subjects in a day when it comes to the continuous internal test (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Difficulty level is average since an average student could easily pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

Nissan digital has offered internship to students from s7 onwards. Also carestack has offered internships to students from s7 as junior developer which brings in a great exposure to the students who would like to bring a great start to the career

Placement Experience

From s6 onwards you get classed based on placement assistance. The placement cell is very good in this college. Highest package offered in 2024 is 1200000 per annum and lowest being 300000 per annum 70/120 students in computer science got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

We will have to pay 85000 per year Also there is a refundable deposit of rupees 1 lakh Which will be returned back after the completion of course. There is also scholarship for students based on keam rank.

Campus Life

Personally i feel the campus engagement is boring as they have a strict management but then it is fun and all if you have the right gang. The environment is amazing but you need to utilise it rather than sitting in the class. The

Admission

This college has an amazing fest called the crossroads it is one of the best fest held by colleges in trivandrum and hence students who did their schooling in trivandrum has a separate soft corner for this college. We need to clear keam in order to get accepted into this college.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:20. That is one faculty advisor is assigned for 20 students, and we can approach them whenever we want. There are few one to one sessions with the advisor which make it a lot easier. There are two internal exam namely CAT 1 and CAT 2 both the exams are out of 50 . And then end sem

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are good, can be better. This year the average is 15L and median is 12L and highest is 50L for ece, the percentage of placed students in ece is also greater than 80%.In the 3rd year students are taken for interships and those may convert to placements and for 4th year students placements will start from the start of their 4th year itself.For ece meesho, dell, texax instuments and many other companies came, meesho paid the highest salary in ece.My plan is to secure a good job in core company.

Nit Calicut - Good Side and Worse Side

we get placements mostly in the post 6th sem or in 7th sem. Some major companies like texas instruments offer good packages here. others include meesho, goldmans sachs, dell, bpl. Highest package is around 50lakh for ece students and around 70 lakh for cse. more than 80 percent get placed from cse and ece but is only around 20 percent in branches like production engineering, engineering physics. less core companies than it ones

I had applied for saitgaits,amal jyothi and cet. Considering cet,the fee and placements are high but the discipline and structured way is lacking.Now considering saintgaits and amal jyothi,there are more opportunities in mbcet to explore.. mbcet is also in the town and easily approachable via public transport.mbcet has a disciplined approach to studies.comparing the hostels too mbcet has one of the best hostels. I was rejected in cet for cs dept as i didnt aquire the required rank..i was accepted in both others but decided to join mbcet due to its status in society.
