- College has good coding culture and tech related activities are more conducted in college.
- good peer network and seniors are helpful and are good potential for future networking opportunities.

Dislikes
- Campus area is too small (4 acres) and not good sports infrastructure
- lack of social life and fests are way below average
- Faculties are quite strict in First year overall and for ENTC branch . They are more strict for attendance criteria.
Course Curriculum Overview
So the curriculum of college is alligned with industry work.The computer engineering course have various subjects like DBMS,Data structure and algorithms and Operating system which are core fundamentals in tech field.The curriculum helps you be a good software developer and an industry expert.The frequency of exams are like every 2 months.
Internships Opportunities
You are mostly eligible to apply for internships from 3rd year 1st semester of college.Various companies which visit for intership opportunities are MasterCard , Barclays , Arista Networks , Dhruva Technologies,etc and mostly they offer rolles of Software Developer and Technical Analyst.
Placement Experience
From 5th semester of college companies visit to college for internships and from 7th sem you are eligible for placement.Around 100+ companies visit each year for placment in PICT.Highest Package in pict is Around 48 LPA oncampus which was given by Adobe.Other high paying companies like PhonePe,Arista Networks,Palo Alto,Microsoft etc also visit the campus.Average package for Computer Engineering is around 10.5 LPA.Around 90% students get placed in PICT.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee for PICT is around 1 lakhs.You can apply for different private company scholarships as well.College will send multiple scholarships opportunities on groups.For SC and ST category yearly fee is only around 4-5 thousand.For OBC and EWS it is around 60 K yearly.
Campus Life
The Annual Fest in college is called as Addiction and Annual Tech fest is INC which stands for Impetus and Concepts.Addiction is in month of February and INC is conducted in month of April.There are wide range of books in Library and various research papers are also available in College.There are numerous amount of tech facilities in college like various domains Laborataries like Data science lab,Computer Networking lab,Digital electronics.Sports and extracurricular activites in college are not that good.As campus is too small so there is a single basketball and volleyball court.There are various Social clubs in college like EDC (Entreprenuership Development cell ), PICT TedX club,PICT MUN,Automobile Club,Robotics club,PICT NSS club which is for social activities and welfare.
Admission
I had applied for various top colleges in Maharashtra like COEP VJTI and SPIT but i selected PICT due to its location , affordability and placements.I also applied for COEP CS but the cutoff was quite high so i got rejected . So my second option was PICT CS.I was also getting SPIT CS but due to high living cost near the college and college does not have there own hostels.So i choose PICT because I was a localite and it is second best college after COEP in Pune.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is around 1:10 that is for every faculty there are 10 students. The faculties are quite chill in Computer department and quite supportive. They can help you in any aspect of your study related doubts. There are mainly 2 Exams in each semester,1 is insem of 30 marks and another is endsem of 70 marks.As PICT is under SPPU so the difficulty of paper is quite low and you could score a good GPA in short amount of time.In PICT very few students get fail in College exams.
