College is autonomous affiliated with Savitri bai Phule University Pune course is designed with help of alumni and students are made industry ready their are 2 type on exam in semister and end semister exam

Placement Experience

College placement are good above 90 % students are placed mainly in computer and solutions competitions, students can do intership in 3 rd year seniors help. And alumni support is best in college they help in fund project etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure of general category is 1,03,500 and for obc 90,000 and less for other categories. you can get scholarship from private and government scholarship . College is private so it's not too much compared to other private colleges

Campus Life

Campus of college is small ( 5 acres ) but it has kabbadi , vollyball , basket ball , table tenis court gym is also present there are many labs like Computer lab , IEEE lab , graphics lab in college campus is small but all facilities are available

Hostel Facilities

I live in college hostel quality of food of mess is good menu is changed every week 2 students live in 1 room washroom is in each room laundry is in college hostel fess is 1,25,000 for each year , hostel closes at 10 pm

Hostel Fee: INR 125000 per year

Admission

College is best in placement this year it is above 90% course outcome make students ready for industry , anyone who scored above 98%ile in jee mains and mht cet exam can come in college and cutoff depends on category

Faculty

Faculty of college is experienced and qualified , a class has maximum 80 students they are helpful and available in college time , faculty is very friendly in nature, course is designed to keep students industry ready

Night Life

Campus of college is small ( 5 acres ) but it has kabbadi , vollyball , basket ball , table tenis court gym is also present , there is canteen in college and many restaurants are present nearby college hostel closes at 10 pm but there is reading hall where students can study till 12

College offers campus placement on an average of 5 to 6 lakh per year. Not so good. Companies like MI Tech solution,Q-spider,Latent and many more have comed for placement.Had to try for off campus for better offer.This companies before my admission .I think in future companies with high package will come. Students can seat in campus placement from 5th to 6th semester.

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
