Events organized by the college are excellent.
Infrastructure facilities including campus and amenities are good.

Dislikes

High expense on stationery items, not included in fees.
Activity and Adobe fees is high, its too expensive.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum helps to prepare for industrial practice from the base.They make sure we be industry ready after the degree. Faculties are really good and helpful. Some time should be provided for theory lectures are well by the faculty which is somewhat missing.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides one main internship in 4 th year that is sem 8. Which rhe student are needed to do it as it is compulsory. But college also provides internships if the student want to do in every sems. The final internship is required for degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees for Design course- product design 500000 per year Activity fees 5000 per year Enrollment fees 5000 only for 1st year End term examination 2000 per semester Add Adobe sub 9500 per year The fees for activity, enrollment and end term is applicable for all other coursee.

Campus Life

The festival and events are really amazing. As it provides promising events every year. Be it festival or any event. The campus is good, full of plants and trees. There are various club or societies such as dance society, singing society, theatrical society, poem society etc. All managed by student. The college also provides an opportunity to organize events of college. All these opportunity are really helpful for life.

Hostel Facilities

The college provides 3 hostels with 3 mess attached. The mess provides breakfast, lunch, hi tea ( evening snacks) and dinner. The hostel has six sharing, 3 sharing room and 2 sharing rooms... So club rooms. We can avail hostel for a year and then can extend in next years as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 200000 per year

Admission

There are 3 stage process of admission. First it is written test. Once we get selected from 1st stage then come situation test and interview. Situation test is basically we need to make a 3d model or something in the given time limit. And then there is interview rounds and portfolio checking. Then we get admission detail on getting selected.

Faculty

The faculties are highly educated and experienced. They are really helpfull. There are 4 juries- 2 internal and 2 external per sem. They also give theory knowledge and also exams. The exam criteria are minimum 75 percent attendance.

Detailed analysis of CEPT university from the perspective of a first year student

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a 5 year course with a dedicated foundation year which was a driving factor in chosing this course. The curriculum requires us to actually go in the city and explore different types of manufacturers and makers which taught us a lot about how the real world works. The only improvement i would suggest is having more group activities. There are 2 major submissions in midsem and endsem and they aren't difficult at all if you have completed all your work.

DIddy tried to review his college

I applied to ISDI,MIT ADT,Pearl Acadeamy,Rubika,MIT ujjain other than UID....and also got the offer letter from all trhe institutes ...but why i chose UID over all was the thought that UID is more heard of than the rest of them and it is also away from home ,,,it is just because of the awesome marketing of the college...Even my institue where I went to prepare for NID were promoting UID ...at that time i thought it is a really reputed college ...but at the end its all business...Read More

Really helpful

The admission process was quite easy, you just needed to give one entrance there were some passing marks which are different for every year. Once you pass the entrance exam they call you for the interview round on the date you select. You need to show your portfolio (whatever good work you have). Then they announce the result via your registered mail. Other than this admissions forms are announced on their official site. It's mostly in the month of December. Best design college which helped me grow into a successful professional

The eligibility for the course is 12th with 60% of marks. Plus, I appeared for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), ST, and Portfolio Evaluation Test.
