I Had My Internship In A graphic Designing House Based In Ahmedabad. My Role Was Junior Asst. Designer. I Got The Stipend Of 15K Pm. It Was A Nice Experience To Have On The Job training Which Helps Me Till Date.

If You Ask About The Placement From The College Then You Have Their Qsp Point. Though is a Corporate Institution They Have Many Multinational And National Tie-Ups For The Placements. Our Batch Has an Avg. Ctc Of 12-15 Lcs Pa.

According to Me, The Course Fees were not Too Much compared with The Facilities and infrastructure You Will Have. It Was A Value For Money. They Have Their Own Loan Dept. To Help You Out For The Financial Support.

When You Came About The Campus Life That Is The Golden Time I Had Theirs. You Will Have The Flavours Of All Cultures On The Campus. The Library has all The Required Books And Journal, Not Only from India but Also From The World.

Hostel Facilities

YOU WILL HAVE A BED, WEARDROP , STUDY TABLE. THE WI-FI FACILITY IN THE CAMPUS AND HOSTEL. THEY WILL ASK YOU AT VERY FIRST REGARDING YOUR HOSTEL REQURIEMENTS . THE MEAL IN THE CANTEEN WAS HYGINIC BUT THE CATCH IS THAT ALL IS PURE VEG.

After doing my schooling I applied here for the course through the online application. then I got the call for the entrance exam and GD-PI session. after passing the written exam I appeared for GD & PI.

Interview Experience

I GAVE THE WRITTEN EXAM OF APPTITUDE. MY GD TOPIC WAS " WHAT IS THE IMPACT OF LPG IN THE INDIAN GDP". AFTER THAT I WENT THROUGH 2 ROUND OF PERSONAL INTERVIEW. THAT WAS A NEW EXPRIENCE FOR ME THAT TIME TOUGH I MADE IT.

Placement Experience:

I have heard that the incampus pacement offers are around 5-10 lakhs approx ...and as of no campus placement is offered....I am doing 3d for almost 4 years now ..i started using blender when i was in 11th and became quite good at it .i have gained a lot of software knowledge ..now i myself would decline any offer from the college placement ...i am sure i would get better opportunities offcampus ..freelancing would also be a good option

The faculties are very kind but right now there is little lack of staff but for the resources, the structure is ready with the lab and all other studios like editing, recording, and theatre conference students were less in the beginning now the ratio is getting better. The exams are held o time.

I chose uid because of its high level infrastructure and amenities.the faculty was also highly qualified which made it my 3rd preference right behind nid and uceed unfortunately due to circumstances I wast able to prepare a lot before the nid and uceed exams thus did not get in .I got a confirmed admission from iiad which was my fail safe in case my portfolio was not up to par the uid standerds...Read More

There are 3 stage process of admission. First it is written test. Once we get selected from 1st stage then come situation test and interview. Situation test is basically we need to make a 3d model or something in the given time limit. And then there is interview rounds and portfolio checking. I applied to ISDI,MIT ADT,Pearl Acadeamy,Rubika,MIT ujjain other than UID....and also got the offer letter from all trhe institutes ...but why i chose UID over all was the thought that UID is more heard of than the rest of them and it is also away from home ,,,it is just because of the awesome marketing of the college...Even my institue where I went to prepare for NID were promoting UID ...at that time i thought it is a really reputed college ...but at the end its all business...Read More

Really helpful

The admission process was quite easy, you just needed to give one entrance there were some passing marks which are different for every year. Once you pass the entrance exam they call you for the interview round on the date you select. You need to show your portfolio (whatever good work you have). Then they announce the result via your registered mail. Other than this admissions forms are announced on their official site. It's mostly in the month of December. Best design college which helped me grow into a successful professional

The eligibility for the course is 12th with 60% of marks. Plus, I appeared for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), ST, and Portfolio Evaluation Test.
