DIddy tried to review his college

the overall course is quite good but the foundation part was the least favouriate of mine...the workshops were quite boring ..i mean some people would find is interesting but ...me ...personally..I found it nothing but a waste of time ..Apart from that there are theory subjects that are absolutely unnecesory..I always think why does that even exist in the curriculum...

i am in 2nd year now and they have provided us with an apprenticeship at "Yali Studios' ...unfortunately i was not at all interested in that ...as i have told that i am currently in 2nd year i dont have much knowledge about the internship programmes provided by the college..

I have heard that the incampus pacement offers are around 5-10 lakhs approx ...and as of no campus placement is offered....I am doing 3d for almost 4 years now ..i started using blender when i was in 11th and became quite good at it .i have gained a lot of software knowledge ..now i myself would decline any offer from the college placement ...i am sure i would get better opportunities offcampus ..freelancing would also be a good option

Let me break down the fees structure for Animation and Digital Media (B.Des) batch 2023-27 at United World Institue of Design 1st Year-5,50,000 2nd Year-5,50,000 (Remains Same) 3rd Year-5,50,000 (Remains Same) 4th Year- 5,50,000 (Remains Same) Total Fees for 4 years = Rs 22,00,000 *Fees are divided into two equal semester installments (275000/-) *The Fee remains Constant throughout 4year programme *For the new incoming batches, the fee increases by Rs50,000 compared to the previous batch *No Scholarships are offered by the institution Note- While your Batch's fee remains fixed at 5,50,000 per year, new students joining in the subsequent years will pay 50,000 more than the previous batch.For example,If a student joins one year after your batch they would pay 6,00,000, per year throughout their course.

The campus is quite large ..The infrastructure is also good ...The thing I like about this college is that they keep upgrading themselves ..Each and every departrment has there own technical festivals like in animation we have chaturbhuj and the mont on which it is held is around end november...All the classwooms within the campus have AC ...so there is no need to worry about the hot temperature of gujrat...theyt also conduct KUGM sports day and that also include E sports

the hostel rooms are quite good ...u get 3 options that is within campus, extended campus and united homes ..United homes is the best hostel to consider because it is location ...altough it is 8 km away from campus it has more facilities than the other 2 ..that is more restraunts ..more shops etc...but it also comes with extra price to pay..There is 1 mess in each location (main campus,extended and united homes}...you get the same food at each mess ...you get a TV,fridge and an Ac in your room ...You have to pay the AC bill separately...there are 2 sharing, 3 sharing,4 sharing,6 sharing and club rooms option available ...

I applied to ISDI,MIT ADT,Pearl Acadeamy,Rubika,MIT ujjain other than UID....and also got the offer letter from all trhe institutes ...but why i chose UID over all was the thought that UID is more heard of than the rest of them and it is also away from home ,,,it is just because of the awesome marketing of the college...Even my institue where I went to prepare for NID were promoting UID ...at that time i thought it is a really reputed college ...but at the end its all business

There are 2 faculty members for 45 students ...it depends class to class ..there are few departments that has less than 30 students still they have 2 faculty members.The faculty are quite good and supporting ..they are very chill and friendly ..some of them talk less but amazing skills and and experience ...They also help you get customers for freelancing ..They give you the right input for everything...They would also apreciate and encourage your efforts...

There is an online exam for the stage 1 ...for stage 2 ...they have a studio test ...where in they check your material handeling skills ..They would provide you with a problem ...you are supposed to solve that problem in the most creative way possible but at the same time it should be practical too...after your studio test.. you would havce an interview round where in they would check your portfolio...
