Course Curriculum Overview

4

I had interest in designing since I was in school so it was fix that I will choose designing but choosing this college wasn't a plan. It just happened and I took admission here and it's good for living and all

Fees and Financial Aid

We have 80,000 college fees per annum and we have to study for 4 years so by the end of studies it counts as 3,20,000. And fees changes every year. So our juniors have their fees of 85,000 and our seniors have 70,000

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is very interesting for students as there are so many events and functions. There's a Watcher's park, where they cast movies and live cricket or football matches. And every festival is celebrated.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are different and the facilities also different in each hostel as there are flat type hostel with 9 sharing, hostels with common washroom and attached washrooms, hostels with 3 sharing, 4 sharing, AC and Non AC.

Admission

As I said that it was fix that I will pursue designing but I had a thought in my mind to take admission in MSU but due to the less merit I didn't get chance there so Parul University was the second option and I applied here.

Faculty

3

We have very few faculty members in our department. One teacher take classes in all four years. Theory teaching is very bad. Teacher of theory just come in the class, show us ppt and translate it. It's too bad.

Interview Experience

4

As I said that I have been interested in designing since I was in school so it was fix that I will pursue designing but choosing this college wasn't a plan. I had a thought in my mind to take admission in MSU but I didn't get chance to get admission there.

Night Life

2

Nightlife is nothing for Indian students as we were told to get back in our hostel by the time of 9 pm but for the abroad students it's all okay if they roam around in campus midnight also. They have no rules. They can do whatever they want freely

Other Applied Colleges

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda - [MSU] | Bachelor of Visual Arts [BVA] (Applied Arts)

It was on my second choice

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a 5 year course with a dedicated foundation year which was a driving factor in chosing this course. The curriculum requires us to actually go in the city and explore different types of manufacturers and makers which taught us a lot about how the real world works. The only improvement i would suggest is having more group activities. There are 2 major submissions in midsem and endsem and they aren't difficult at all if you have completed all your work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nid follows a old style curriculum which has its own pros and cons. Here we prefer sticking to the basics in the beginning we believe in building our base rather than rushing. We imply more of practical knowledge rather than theoretical basically we experiment live with our ideas a lot and we are allowed to explore anything that we are interested in

They need to install streetlights till the new hostel building as it does get creepy and we did have few accidents during the night time. They need to change the girls hostel main gate security from old men to really young guy men who can actually run after goons when they harass or catcall the girls.
