Course Curriculum Overview

5

I choose EAC as it would provide an option going on both side either electronics or computer during job time. I would learn even programming languages and even VLSI chip designing and even some more electronic courses as i would able to shift my job based on my interests at that point of time. It would create more options to change my career. I guess there is no need of improvements in the course curriculum as college changes and updates new curriculum for every 4 years. The exams are like continouss assessments you would have 1 exam atleast in 2 weeks though which is negative as we can't go home during some functions.

Internships Opportunities

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise fees is based on the rank you get in AEEE or JEE mains. There are 4 slabs in which top 10% are slab 1 who elected the course would get 1 lakh fees, next 40% would get 2 lakh fees, slab 3 consists of 30% students and fees of 2 lakh 40 thousand and slab 4 is consisdered non-scholarship category which is for the people would try with their board marks but their board marks should be greater than 85% in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and their fees is 3 lakhs. It changes with respect to year and even branch wise. The above details provided are for Electronics and Computer Engineering(EAC). Caution fees is 10,000rs for college and 10,000rs for Hostel caution deposit. Hostel fees is 1,10,000rs. There is seperate category for SC,ST but i didn't find any of them in my friends.

Quality of meal is good but rarely you find insects in food, Menu style is compleltly veg and egg provided on wednesday and Sunday. Registration process is as same as college fees it is provided in the same website Castle PG is the nearest PG in which some of my friends would stay over there

Admission

I have applied for JEE MAINS, KCET, DSAT, RVCET, REVACET, VIT, MIT (Manipal institute of Techonology) I have tried getting into IIT/NIT but couldn't due to qualification factor. The next college came to my mind was Amrita it was strict in regarding Drugs, Ragging which made my mind to think good about this college. The college would provide better placements than other colleges which i mentioned above and even better infrastructure. The admission process of my college is through AEEE/JEE mains we can come through any mode. The eligbility is the student must have 60% in MPC subjects I have entered into college through JEE mains The EAC branch cutoff through JEE mains is 85 percentile Amrita accepts most of them through AEEE exam. It has an counselling process where students can opt for preffered campus and branch. There are 3 rounds where they would show which branch and campuss you are alloted.

Faculty

4

Faculty-Student Ration There is a teacher for students 25:1 ratio, suggesting that every teacher will have about 25 students under his/her care. There are seperately counselling sessions per week as we need to meet the teachers and can talk about our personal issues. There are some skilled Counsellors for the students who are more depressed and week. The teachers are so aooriachable and friendly. The teaching faculties go beyond the limitations of the teacher-student relationship and often serve as mentors. Hence they can effectively face mental challenges. Facutly Perfomance andFairness Generally, the quality of teaching is good, though the students do not hold firm opinions regarding strict classification of faculty members as "good" or "bad". There have, however been times when students have witnessed certain biases in the actions of some faculty members . For example, a few teachers are perceived by students to favour female students compared to their male contemporaries. Assessment and Exam There are two quizzes conducted during the semester Each question paper consists of 15 marks which is reduced . Assignements for 15 marks. Mid sem conducted for 50 marks reduced to 30 marks End sem conducted for 100 marks reduced to 40 marks Total mark = 0.15* Quizz + 0.15*Assignment+0.30*Mid Sem +0.40*End Sem It is relative based so you will get grade based on the toppers marks of the respective class/department.

Interview Experience

5

There is no interview done during the admission proccess. The Portions for the exam were Maths, Physics and Chemistry same as JEE mains portions The process is to get good marks to get into preffered branch and campus. There are two sessions of AEEE exam one can attend both the one with higher marks would be considered

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

Several reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, offering a wide range of job opportunities to students. Some of the prominent companies include Infosys, Wipro, TCS, IBM, and Accenture, among others. These companies make a significant number of job offers across various profiles, including software development, consulting, and research. The highest package offered varies from year to year and can range from ?10-20 lakhs per annum, depending on the company and the profile offered. The average package generally falls between ?4-8 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placements varies, but RVCE has a consistently high placement record, with a significant majority of students securing job offers during campus placements.
