Course Curriculum Overview

2

I was very interested in tech so i chose this course. The curriculum is old. Doesn't make us ready for the real world just like almost every clg in india. But youtube helped a lot. The ratio of teacher to student should decrease by about 50%. The frequency of exams are high including practical theory other projects etc. it is quite a lot.

Placement Experience

1

From 4th year students are eligible for the placements. Companies like coforge, sopra steria, jman, zscaler , etc. visited and made several offers. Average package is 4lpa. Highest was around 40lpa. Around 60% make it to placements. I am also placed in tcs prime profile by giving tcs nqt exam. It was offcampus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fee was 170000 to 180000 Tuition Fee was around 80000 per semester Caution fee was 5000 Registration was 1000 Admission was 5000 Devlopment and rest was around 500 each Category wise fee is same but gender wise is different. Girls get extra benefits. Homestate benefits and military background benefits are there as scholarships. Also JEE percentile benefits are there and also 12th base score benefits as scholarships are there.

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of celebrations. Like almost everyday something keeps on happening. The biggest is graphest. It is very easy to get books from library. There are quite a lot. There are several computer labs with high speed internet and old fashioned computers. The extracurricular activities are there but are not very famous among students. There are several clubs like drama, singing, etc.

Admission

The advertising made me choose this college over the others. The placement rates made my decision. I prepared foe jee exam and could not qualify so took admission here. Admission process is very simple just visit the college, pay atleast half of the semester fee and you are done.

Faculty

2

Faculty members were good, some were not so good. Majority knew what they were teaching but some didn't. Faculty to student ratio was 1:70 on average. Not so approachable as the ratio sometimes was 1:300. Digambar dhyani sir is someone whom i liked. He is in the career skills department and was very supportive. There are semester wise exams like mid sem and end sem. It is quite difficult to score good in 2nd year but rest it's not that difficult.

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th sem. Recently, Visa visited our college but didn’t make any offers. The highest package in 2024 was 84 LPA, while the average is around 4 LPA. Nearly 80% of students get placed across different companies. After my degree, I plan to build strong tech skills and aim for a good software developer role.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are quite bad as only a few companies come to our college for placement drive . Students becomes eligible for campus placement from the 3rd year onwards . Companies visited like TCS , HCL and some other not much popular companies visited but this year placement is very low . Our college also fake advertising about the placement they advertise the interships also as placements. 10 to 20 percent in BTech CSE are getting only Placement. I don't know what I will do after getting degree but currently I am doing a side by side diploma from IIT Roorkee to get some extra knowledge and skill improvement for better placements.

Oracle, Microsoft, DeShaw and almost every company which needs IT services have looked upon GEU because we are trained that way. This is the reason our median has gone up and this year was a breakout year for placements for GEU as over 15-20 students were hired for packages of over 40 LPA.
