Infrastructure and campus are really beautiful good enough to explore or where you can soemd your 4 year not too enormous but not short too teachers are good
Teachers are good the oersom who knws how too get output can be a good academic profile in college

Dislikes

You cannot go out of campus before 4 pm .
Need more of high skill courses means there should be more practical cousrses in college

Course Curriculum Overview

I will again add curriculum is well designed we dont feel presuured got enough between every st . Each subject has bith ora tical amd theory knowledge. Timming is about 1 hour for st online and offline both modes difficulty level is good means decent

Internships Opportunities

As per senior many comapines line infosys , wipro, tcs , amazon and way many conpanies come for internship. For many tech roles as i am 1st year student i dont know much yes there are good amount of conapnies vists campus

Placement Experience

In terms of intership from 3rd year placement are ther but students can do off campus in their summer vaction in 2nd year.4 the year is the year for final placemnets where comapy start vistiing mostly in 8th sem i am too a forst year so i dont know more about current placemnt scenario with accuracy

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 1,20,000 per semester for BE comouter science as for 4 years its rougly 10 lacs. It will be increasing as of me in further years by some amount . No scholarhsip with me so i have no idea but there are scholarships in collage

Campus Life

Yes, collage have a very good campus experience in terms of clubs and fests. They are so many clubs that are technical coding clubs ciltural skill base clubs technical department ,happiness department ,art ,modelling, u name one and a club is there many events hackathon expert talk ok daily bus are there organized by many of these clubs only collage also put fun events amd concerts too

Admission

I am a jee aspirant so my marks are not well emough to get me too any nit or iits but with my marks i will be getting uiet hoshiarpur electrical or some core branch so i dont wnat thosr branches so i just reject taht option .I have also applie to thapar university got electronic and communication seat but dont make it that too beacuse off high fees of it so chitkar is the only which make my required branch and fees

Faculty

Faculty is good and linenet . Most of them will tell you or solve you doubts and preety much well emough . Per semester three exams st 1,2,3 and end semster at the end exams can be online too some times

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculam was based on 8 semesters sem 1 and sem 2 was basic and was same for every enginnering stream after that as i opt for computer science the syllabus was started according to that. In real world i had implemented this curriculam as a developer in which the basic languages that i had learnt plays a great role. There are some improvements that is needed that there must be practical implementation of each and every thing so that the student must grap the things easily and i would became easy in future life.

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester students are eligible for internships and placements if they have the required skillset. Few Companies which visited campus last year were Google , Microsoft , Adobe , Citi Bank , Oracle , Amazon ,Accenture and many more etc. The average package for CSE was around 16-17lac followed by IT around 15lac , ECE was around 14lac. The Google offered the highest package of 52lpa.

Placement Experience:

Average package of btech students is Rs. 10 lac and for tech branches the average package stood at 13.5 lacs. Companies like microsoft, google, adobe, nvidia, oracle, flipkart, amazon visit the campus. Almost 50 students offered a package of greater than 25 lac. 90% of the students were placed in last year. For tech branches placement record is very good like 95-96%.

Placement Experience:

This year final for final year students around hundred companies have already visited the campus and around 80 percent of the students have been placed. Highest package was around 55 lakhs per annum and lowest being around 5 lakhs per annum. The average package is around 10 lakhs per annum.Top recruiters being JPMC and Barclays among many others. Around 20 percent of the students got interned and the companies were JPMC, Barclays, Salesforce, Sprinkle, American Express and many others.The roles offered were Software Developer and Data analyst. It is advisable to keep the cgpa atleast above 7 to be able to sit in placements.

Placement Experience:

In third year their are summer internships opportunities and in 4th years the placements for stude Get started. There is a chance of getting placed in 3rd year but a rare more a summer internship is expected where as in 4th year that is in 7th semester students get their placements on campus as no of good companies start visiting the campus and the placement rated are really good and even increasing. The highest package last year that is 2023 was of approximately INR 55.75 lakh per annum while average package was around INR 11.9 Lakh per annum. The average varies slightle from 13-15 LPA. The university's placement rate consistently remains high typically around 90 percent each year. Top recruiting companies include microsoft, apple, jp morgan chase, amazon, flipkart, providing roles in software development, data analysis and consulting and more.

Great learning experience with best campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement cell of LPU is quite good. Management brings almost 500 companies every year which shows that they provide opportunity to students, now it's upto the students that how they grab this opportunity. One of the LPU Allumini backed a package of 3 cr annually at zoom. Ofcourse it was off campus but LPU takes pride in it. Speaking about on campus placements, as far as I know, many students have backed packages upto 60 laks per annum in top companies like google, amazon, Accenture etc. LPU provides students with additional PEP classes in which they groom you for the interviews well before the actual placement drives which enhances your chances of getting a good package. My plan is to take on job taining after 3rd year and getting a ppo from the same company

Reality of Chitkara University

I chose this college over other colleges for the reason as it was near to my home place providing me an option to travel daily from home to college amd vice verse. Secondly all the government colleges demands for good jee rank which unfortunately i didnt scored and that limits my area of selection for colleges. Genuine Review after real experience

I applied to Chandigarh University and CGC other than this, but I choose Chitkara over other two as it had better campus, better Faculty and resources. Also, it had better Placements opportunities compare to the other two universities. Admission process is through Extrance examination. For BE course, Jee Main score and 12 th score is taken into contention for the allotment of the seats. Cutoffs are generally eveGe for this college.
