- I liked the crowd of the college, it is fun , day to day events and activities are conducted , Very good management
- Huge campus , includes 4-5 canteens and maggie house , synthetic running track , football field , basketball and badminton Courts , various other amenities
- Clean washroom , hygienic , respectful staff and teachers , auditorium room with AC , library, IT lab
Dislikes
- No air conditioning available throughout the college
- Issues in fan , lack of discipline , basic amenities are not convenient
Course Curriculum Overview
As per the curriculum, which mostly helps in real world also For example - IT , excel is taught which now a days is a basic need in any company , listning speaking skills are enhanced by proper vivas and debat compitition in auditorium room Frequencies of exams are not very often Basic unit test are conducted to keep the students on track Main are semester exams which are conducted in june and october
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is - 1st year 15k 2nd year 17k 3rd year 17k There are no such tutions fees or caution fees The registration and admission fees are minimal There are no compulsory charges Girls fees is comparativly less than boys Scolarship from a renowned place is accepted Minority admission are easily available for SC/ OBC
Campus Life
Many events and activities are conducted on daily basis, main college fest known are symphony is also conducted in mid pf the year Weekly basis events across various fields are held All the intellectual books are available from A-Z Projector and chalk and white board are provided in classrooms Students who are excellent in sports have big scope in college sports team , which plays on district level Many clubs are available of which you can be part of
Admission
I applied to jai hind , hr , kc , podar , kj somaiya I got allotment in all I chose kj somaiya among all as it is closest to my home as comapared to other colleges There are not attendence issues or a criteria which has to be maintained in kj somaiya It is very convenient college College admission is based on pure merit of 12th standard, apart from it students can give CET from which they can get some boost in their percentage There are 8 steps of admission in kj somaiya which is done online and is not complex
Faculty
Faculty to student ratios is 50-50 , if asked for help Immediate help is provided , all faculty are respectfull and will hear out the issues of the students , will provide with help any time needed Faculty liked most is hemali maam Very nice , kind hearted person all ways available to help at any circumstance No such faculty to dislike or any reason yo dislike amd they are not disrespectful or ignorant on the matters of student . In 1 year there are 2 sems 1 sem includes the subjects which you have opted if no then they are allotted at random Exams are moderate If not prepared might feel difficult Highly relatable to course
