Remarks

The college have both the negative and positive side. The negatives are that it is a very new and budding law school and therefore is underrated. Yes there are lack of facilities and the college also faces a location disadvantage as it is not in a metropolitan. And therefore the students have to go out for internships. The college tries to arrange for guest lectures. It is still developing and the students are also putting in efforts to bring the college in the lime light. It surely has a bright future as a law school.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course Curriculum is spread over 5 years which includes Law and Arts( as under B.A course) subjects. For the first 2 years, Arts subjects are taught with Law subjects and from the third year only Law related subjects are taught. Students are required to choose a honours paper ( Law ) in the fifth year. Overall the course is extensive and vast giving the students an insight to overall knowledge.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are below average. Only a few students have bagged top tier law firm jobs. The college do provide for placement opportunities in 3rd tier law firms. Internship on the other hand are being provided to the students if they apply to the Internship and Placement committee , otherwise students can go for applying in any Institution independently

NTAC: National Trial Advocacy Competition.( moot event ): Once a year 3. O.P Jalan Taxation Moot: once a year 4. Ulgulan: A yearly multidisciplinary fest on national lever consisting of Cultural, Sports And Literary events. 5. Other events organised by different committees and societies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees as compared to other national law schools is on the expensive. Around 2 lakhs a year. It is the most expensive among the NLUs Fees has to be paid every semester and there is no rigid time frame to pay the fees. One can pay well before the Mid semester examinations which happens approximately 2 months from the start of the semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college does not provide for any scholarship programs. Although there may be relaxation on the time period of payment of fees on providing reasons. One can apply for loans independently from the banks

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular Activities are majorly Moots, Debates and sports. The Moot court Committee is responsible for handing moot related affairs like giving orientations to new comers, organising Intra and National Moots . There is a strong mooting culture in this college. Sports is also very active. Every semester an intra sports competition which includes various sports events. The college has recently built courts and grounds to facilitate sports activities. A gym is also there in both the boys and girls hostels

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostels are equipped with adequate rooms. And all the basic facilities such as table chairs, bed, wifi , water heater, water purifiers, night canteen, balcony, adequate washrooms, tiled floors. Cleaning is done regularly. Students get single rooms from thier secind years and entry timings is a reasonable 10.30 pm

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni base is in the development stage as it is a relatively new college and only 4 batches have passed out . The seniors here are of great help be it moots or studies or getting you internships. They guide you in extracurricular activities as well

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of this college, cumulatively speaking is above average. There are teachers with very vast knowledge about thier subjects and practice a robust teaching pattern. Wherein for some subjects it is not up to the mark due to lack of specialists in the subjects. That is to say, presently there are no ‘ professors’ in this college, there are ‘assistant professors’.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quite interesting and I personally feel very grateful to have pursued it. It is one of the courses that shapes me as a fine citizen of india. Moreover the course structure is very practical in nature as it includes training sessions like drafting, researching, moot courts and others. The teaching style is student friendly and teachers teach as per student's comfort. The exam level is moderate..if one is attentive in class they will score well.

No bad remarks but the attendance is 75 percent is compulsory in way important manner you cannot even sit in a paper exam I'd your attendance is not up to the mark in thasubject. So really don't know if its good or bad really . but all in all everything else is well played out so watch out for that attendance matter and you can enjoy the college life.

The only bad remark that I feel apt to share is that the college administration isn't very helpful or cooperative. You don't get any reimbursement for participating in moots and the college attendance policy is harsh. Besides the administration isn't active usually.
