Course Curriculum Overview

3

For the course I chose, MAC, is a very interesting and ambiguous course. I chose this because I liked maths and wanted to peruse it technically. The curriculum is relevant and professional are very good at their jobs. Exams happens twice in a sem with some CTs here and there. Mid sems happens first which are of 20 max. Marks and end sems happens, well ofcourse, at the end of semester with 50 max. Marks and the rest are internal marks.

Internships Opportunities

3

Nsut is one of the best colleges in terms of placements and internships. Many companies come annually for the students in third year to get internships. Recently a girl from second year was accepted for internships in Google which is very impressive for a student in second years because that when we are exploring ourselves and our intrests.

Placement Experience

3

Campus placements are fairly good this year for my course, MAC, rather astonishing with regards that this course was introduced in 2019. 6 sem students are able to apply for internships. Many companies like google meta, Zomato, etc. come to nsut. Highest package was 54 lacs and average was around 18 lacs l. Atleast 60% of students were placed. My plans after graduation is to peruse for higher studies abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for 4 years is approximately 9 lacs where tuition fee (per year) is 65k, university fee (per year) is 80k and other fees (per year) is 62k which approximates to 2.07 lacs for a year. It also increases 10% per year. Hostel fees is 36k for single seater room and 34k for double sharing room with 23k for mess fees.

Campus Life

3

My overall experience is good and the campus life is amazing. There are two fests annually which are resonance which happened recently and moksha which is the main fest of nsut. There are many books available in the library which are enough for anyone. There are smartboard in every lecture hall on apj(lecture complex).

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel rooms are good enough for anyone but they are not grand either. Mess meal are fairly adequate for everyone and everything is veg there. You have to apply for hostel and it s given on the basis of distance between your hometown and Delhi.

Admission

I wanted to stay as near as possible to my home so I only opted for colleges in Delhi. Two of which I chosed that I would go to any one of them and since nsut was closer and more reputed than dtu I chose nsut. Admission for nsut is fairly easy, you can apply through jac Delhi and exam accepted for any course in btech is jee mains .

Faculty

3

Faculty members are very approachable and the ratio is good too. I don't have any particular faculty member that I liked or disliked. it's just that if you have a problem with something and you try to approach the faculty, they will provide best help that they can to make sure your college journey goes smoothly. Exam are a issue when it comes to my opinion as they are frequently preponed which gives less time to prepare and increases stress. Approximately 10% students fail to clear the exams.

The placement of my college is decent enough. If you are from Tech and circutial branches you can expect package ranging around 12-30lpa, and other than this you can expect somewhere between 8-15lpa for other branches. Overall the placement is quite good.

Placement Experience:

The fifth semester students become eligible for campus placements. The College organise placement, registration and shortlisting based on academic performance and semester marks. Many well-known companies visit the campus for hiring every year, including both mass recruitment and profile based offers students get opportunities in core companies as well as IT and consulting firms, the highest package offered in recent years has been competitive, and the average package is decent for most . A good percentage of students manage to secure placement through campus drives, but it also depends on students preparation and skill level students also get internships into placement offers. If a student does not get a campus placement, there are still good options for employability students to prepare for off campus placement, government exams or higher studies like Masters. Overall the placement environment is active and give students affair chance to start their careers.

The minor streams that they offer are Management, Computational Biology and Electronics. Students can enroll in any one based upon their preferences.
