Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, covering key concepts and skills in detail, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world applications and challenges in their chosen field.

Internships Opportunities

5

Many internship offers are also present which are free and in return they give us stipend, you can apply in too many internship programs as well as according to your availability, interest, part time, work from home etc with certificates as well. Many internship offers with jobs also

Placement Experience

5

The placement percentage is very high, above 90% with average annual salary of 7,00,000 and you will feel distracted towards this offers because as you are completing your studies you will get high salary offers and it is not matter to get placement here because they will ready you to start your own startups or business in your own field

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission charge is 100000 and semester wise fees is 70,000 which includes all extra charges many scholarship are also present which are worth of 60,000 to 90,000 rs if you have tuition fee waiver certificate then the price will be very less like as total charges are 8 lakh but if you have certificate then the total cost will be 1.5 lakhs only

Campus Life

5

My overall experience is very great as it gives me feeling of college life in movies and I enjoyed spending time in my college as it is very good. I love my college because it gives me a different and new feeling

Admission

I choose this college over other colleges because it offers high placement percentage with high average salary. It's campus is also very big in comparison of other colleges and my favourite was it has big grounds for sports. To take admission you have to clear wbjee exam for less fees but if you have money then you can take directly admission from management quota

Faculty

5

The faculty members are very experienced and talented they tech us in 3d manners and make us industry ready I also feel that they notice small small things which has to be improved for getting placements for the benefits of the students

Interview Experience

5

Yes, I had to go through a selection process that included a Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and a Written Test during my admission process. In the Group Discussion, the topic given to us was “Is Artificial Intelligence a Threat to Employment?”. We were given a few minutes to think and then had to discuss the topic in a group. The focus was not just on our knowledge, but also on communication skills, confidence, and teamwork. The Interview round was a mix of personal questions, such as “Tell us about yourself” and “Why do you want to join this course?”, along with academic questions related to my previous studies. They also asked about my career goals and my strengths and weaknesses. The Written Test included logical reasoning, English language skills, and basic general knowledge questions. To prepare, I regularly read newspapers to stay updated on current affairs and practiced mock GDs with my friends. For the interview, I revised my academic subjects and prepared answers to common HR questions. I also practiced writing short essays to improve my speed and clarity for the Written Test. This structured preparation helped me confidently clear the rounds.

Placement Experience:

I’d rate HIT’s placement opportunities as 7.5/10 overall. It’s very good for CSE, IT, and ECE, decent for Electrical and core branches, and improving every year with more companies visiting and better preparation programs. If you’re skilled and consistent — especially in coding, communication, and aptitude — you’ll almost certainly get placed before graduatin

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft. The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles, finance in some cases. The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.
