Likes
- Campus is very beautiful and greenery is there. Also here diversity is inclusive and students are there from many states. Apart from that here we have advanced research labs where we can test our products and CU provides funding for our projects too.
- Here the environment of students is also good. I haven't met a single student here who is into drinks and smokes and all these bad things. Here inside campus it is not allowed to drink or smoke. Also the campus is anti ragging.
- Here there are many technical events and non technical fests in college. technical events are very helpful for gaining coding achivements and experience
Dislikes
- The thing I dislike here is the faculties over here. Most of them don't have proper knowledge of the subjects they are teaching
- We are overburdened with assignments and projects which are not helpful at all but due to couree curriculum we have to do
- Even if students get internship in second and third year then also we don't get noc and are not allowed to go
Course Curriculum Overview
First is there are good placements here. Many big tech companies like Accenture, Microsoft etc visit here for placements. ROI is also good here. There are TPP sections in which we have special classes for placements preparation for 3years. Faculty members could be more knowledge here. And assignments can be more relevant There are exams every month except for first month of starting of semester. All are of moderate level
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees is 2,17,000 Tution fees is 1,06,000 per semester Admission fees is not there Examination fees is 5000 yearly I have scholarship of 30% After scholarship I am paying around 1,50,000 yearly My batchmates are also paying around 1lakh to 2 lakh
Campus Life
Annual technical events are tashan nights, freshers and garba night etc. Books are available in library which are easily accessible. We can also issue the books for 3weeks Technical facilities are labs and computer labs which are easily available when needed There is one very big sports complex where almost every sport is played along with trainers assigned There are 50+ clubs where we can learn event management
Admission
I only applied to CU because this was the only college that had admission open after the JEE results I got rejection from iit, nit and thappad University because of jee mains cutoff Admission is through cucet exams and minimum 60% in board examination. Overall admission process is easy
Faculty
Faculty are not very much knowledgeble here. So we lack guidance The faculty to student ration is 1:50 I liked navjot mam because she guided me in the research paper. There are a few more good faculties whose nature is good The faculty I don't like are Neha mam, Anjali mam, Rama mam, Manish sir specifically because their nature is very bad. Also they don't justify the marks we recieved and don't teach when we come in class. They are very rude There are 3 exams, 2 mst and one final all of them are of moderate level
