What Students Say?
Likes
- I liked the colllege campus, the club activities and the applied sciences Labs
- Also the seniors are very helpful, They've been actively participating in many national tech fests and have been securing laurels for the college
Dislikes
- I am dissatisfied by the Faculty of the technical subjects which as an Aspiring AI engineering shall upskill me, Especially subjets like Web technology, Introduction to programming etc still follow the outdated curriculam and the learning monotonous
- Talking about the infrastructure of the Labs, then i would give the least rating i could do, because the being a renowned engineering college, the Computer seem to be 50 years old in which the rest aren't even working
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculam is well designed, and the subjects tailor to the need of the market, We've got the facility of the LLC and here at YCCE you get many LLCs to choose which probably no other college in Nagpur offers, The college offers good reach of network and the various activities like enterprenurship cell, technocrats and others are good
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The fees structure of girls under 8 lakh income pa is 34,670 who have got admission via CAP, The SCs and STs have fees even lower than this, Apart from this student have can avail mahadbt scholarship for which the college has provided the assistance, Uniform fees for the 2 sets of uniform has been taken as 2,700 rs and apart from that a soft skills orientation programme which costed 6,000 The college also has bus facility which cost 22,500 yearly and the Intake through management quota has lumsum fees ranging from 1,75,000 PY
Campus Life
Overall experience in a nutshell can be described as " College has a great network, but it's on you how you use it for the betterment of yourself" Our seniors are extremly supportive and they help us out whenever we need any help College Library is completely overrated, and most of the books are out dated They say that the E-library is also there but the condition of the computers is so worse For sports and extra-curricular i would say i am not much involved so i don;t have any idea yes, there are around 28 clubs in ycce which help students learn and gain experience among which codeware is a club which is currently holding the position to win the smart india hackathon and team titans which won the isro challenge also
Admission
I didn't got rejection from any college, I got COEP in 1st round of my CAP and Manufacturing science and engineering as the branch but, when i talked with the students who have currently enrolled in the course or have been the recent passouts of the branch they suggested me that because of being an inter-disciplinary branch the scope isn't that much and I should go ahead for CSE branch at a good college, I didn't choose Raisoni or other college because of the reputation, YCCE stands out in terms of discipline, Network and obviously the brand value of the college The cut off was highest for Computer technology branch, But it didn't affect me since my score was 97.46%ile which was suffice for any of the branch in the college, I chose Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning because I have deep inclination towards Automation
Faculty
There's 2 teachers to 78 students for Theory and Practical respectively, The Teachers are good and supportive, the methods of teaching in the subject of applied sciences are appreciable Talking about Wange sir, Megha Mam, Meenal Mam (FYC incharge), Nanda Mam are few teachers who are remarkable, like the grip they hold on their subjects is so fabuolous and their ways of teaching are also wonderful, they teach extremly professionally and everyone in the class likes the way they teach and the methods they implement Talking about other subjects so I feel they aren't something to be appreciated because the entire class isn't involved because of the lack of interaction and ill-method of teaching by the faculty
Other Applied Colleges
College of Engineering - [COEP] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Manufacturing Science and Engineering)
Low scope of Branch
