Course Curriculum Overview

4

There is no specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose the subject it was my own decision cause I like to study physics. Curriculum are well organised that it connects to the basics principles of physics that helps us to understand it clearly and with the experiment we can test most of it. There should be more knowledge about modern science and ennovative physics to get modern physiological knowledge. There should be more time given to each exams, sometimes there is very less gaps in between two consecutive exams as a result less preparation time for big syllabus that most of students couldn't cover it.

Internships Opportunities

4

Last summer we got internship program for duration 30 days in which we get to experience the working and real life application of the curriculum of our department. This internship program helps for personality development and many more understanding of the real life applications. After the internship they took a report and viva from each and every students to examine the understanding of the students and also clarify them.

Placement Experience

4

The students who are on the last semester of there course are eligible for the campus placement as after they will be graduated, In Bsc physics hons. we didn't get any specified campus placement mainly it is for technical courses the Highest average package are of 2.5 lakhs to 4.5 lakhs annum. Some names of the companys that offers placement are Mahindra,Infosys, zindal steel jio etc. It is all handled by The Central Placement Cell CPC of GGU. I am planning to apply for DRDO or CDS aftergetting my bsc degree and If I didn't get selected i would go for my masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are divided into semester previous semester I had paid 4050rs, no other fee is taken it includes all of them. My batchmates has also paid the same amount there is no deduction for categories. I had applied for scholarship at National Scholarship Portal (NSP) which gives 8500 rs annum for OBC category students with some eligibility criteria. but if you are from general categories you can apply for some merit cum scholarships like inspire which pays 60000/- annum to Students who got top 1% in cgbsc 12th exams.

Campus Life

5

There we celebrate many kind of festivals such as namo carnival during February, Holi, Diwali and many other . Many functions were organised by each of any department like lex ignia by department of law or many other same as it. The central library at GGU have a very big range of books, more than 1,00,000 books. There are many technical facilities at classrooms contains projector smart board etc. There is a class in physics department namely known as smart classroom which is very facilitelised like projects ,benchs, smart board,ac etc. GGU have many playground as applicable for each of sports such as cricket, football, badminton court, volleyball court, kabbadi court, etc. There are many social groups run by students three most famous are archins , abhinartan and tarang , archins group are for drama and acting, tarang is for music and singing and abhinartan is for dance purpose.

Admission

I am form rural area, i had applied for some local colleges, but as GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA is a central university, Recently it is rated A++ in NAAC rankings As I can't go out from chhattisgarh state it would be the best option for me or any other students who can't go out from chhattisgarh. I haven't applied for any college outer of chhattisgarh and not get rejected by the colleges I had applied on. To get addmission in GURU GHASIDAS VISHWAVIDYALAYA you can apply from CUET exams with minimum 55+ percentage in 12th board, the cutoff may vary every year for every category last year it was 120+ for general I thik so.

Faculty

5

Faculty are very kind and well educated, provides very good knowledge apart from syllabus also they says if you face any kind of problems disturbing the education you can contact to them they will surely help you. I like most of the facilities that have teached me in previous semesters specially to Dr. MN tripathi our HOD sir, Dr. Shiv poojan patel, Dr. Pradip Das sir, DR. Parijat thakur sir etc. Exam pattern is simple 100 marks of each subject is divided into 3 exams CT1,CT2 and end semester examination CT1 & CT2 is of 15 marks each and end semester examination is of 70 marks ,Exams are not that easy not that tough but some students can't reach the passing marks nearly 4-5 students in my class fails sometimes but then clear on 2nd attempt .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of anthropology is very much connected to our human lives which I like to know more about and which influenced me choose this as my graduation course. We study biological , social and cultural, archaeological, and linguistic aspects of humans and thus do a holistic study of human which is very interesting. The toughness exams are of medium level The frequency and timing of exams is good like in every month we have internals and then after a month we have semester exams . So it's good that we are connected to studies and passing exams becomes easy.

I choosed Bachelor of Science in Mathematics as I am from Mathematics Background. I studied in first shift from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. As exam is concerned there is no headache of passing exam because it's an autonomous college so the college easily passed almost all the students. The faculty were teaching well but it needs to improve in their quality of teaching.
