Likes

Quality of education is good as teachers are well experienced in their domain
There are 3 mess . If you are living far you can get tasty food from there with affordable price .
There are approx 32 clubs you can explore and get into leadership position. Team members are really supportive.

Dislikes

Small campus size . You can't enjoy campus life . But you can go outside campus to enjoy as it is located in heart of city
Strict attendance policy - you have to give 85% attendance ( 75% if have proper documents with doctor approval).
You can't have outside games like cricket or football as ground is very small

Course Curriculum Overview

So the class time varies with course and section. Some day clg end with afternoon . Sometimes it stretches till evening late . After 1st year many days it will be late . My course is CSE -IOT cybersecurity blockchain In the early phase we meet with industry specialist. They guided us very well and explained much more and relevant.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 281000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You can check official names in bit' s linkedin profile . Some companies come in 2nd year to give internship. Stipend is variable . Moreover generally students do internship in 3rd and 4th year . They can get PPO from there too .

Placement Experience

So companies can give internship in second year . College helps to bring top companies. If you are having skills you can get placed easily otherwise iit nit also can't place you. So in 2023 avg package was 10-12 lpa Highest was 53 lpa by Microsoft

Fees and Financial Aid

I am admitted through COMEDK So the annual fee I pain in 2024 is Rs 281000 + development fee of Rs 29600 for students who are admitted by kcet have to pay less fees and management fees for CSE is approx 6 laks per academic year. Plus for the text books and anything you will have to pay own money. Scholarship - there is scholarship mostly for native Karnataka people . You have to fill the form and submit the required documents eg. Income certificate etc as well as you have to perform well in academics otherwise they will cancel your scholarship.

Campus Life

Annual fest is MANTHAN . And there are many tech fest happening during whole year. There is a physical as well as digital library inside building with high availability of books and case studies + journal. Class rooms are well maintained . There is no air conditioning as Bangalore weather is awesome. Classes are well equipped with projector. There are 35+ clubs students can get enroll with . TedxBITbangalore is also there . Sports like mini football and gully cricket and many indoor games eg chess carrom etc .

Admission

So it was COMEDK councellimy rank was not good enough to get admission in rv college. I got in top 4 prvt.college of Bangalore. Admission process is by COMEDK for outside Karnataka and kcet for Karnataka people. Overall admission went perfectly with no running here and there .

Faculty

Faculty is nice and cooperative . They make you think beyond. They have a lot of experience. You can also approach them and plan industry person meet-up. The exam pattern is based on VTU guidelines. You can check there .

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

Placement Experience:

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

An amazing college experience that shaped my future

I applied to several college including R V college of engineering N.I.E college of engineering and Dayanand sagar college of engineering.I received confirmed admission offers from Dayanand college of engineering in the first KCET round but I chose my college that is BIT because of its excellent academic environment and placements opportunity.I applied to this college had a more student freindly atmosphere better industry connection more extra curiculum activities and no ragging in the campus.I did't get RV college because cutoff for my desereved branch was quite high and entrance exam score is below their requirements.The admission process for my college was quit straigth forward.Admission process based on KCET or COMED-k.The process was transparent and well managed.After document verification and fee payment I recevied my official admission order.Overall experience is smooth and hassle free....Read More
