Course Curriculum Overview

Basically I belong to science background and was keen to know science from deeper aspects. The course is quite good they provide knowledge from basic to advanced level. they also take us to some excursion to experience ground level problem and understand them better

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 9410 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 9410 rupees quite minimal and lesser than comparative to other colleges. Even the fees is lesser for reservation. They do provide scholarship on the basis of merits.They even announce some scholarship regarding girls recently

Campus Life

I m not so social. And doesn't have any big friend group in college. I don't like to sit in canteen as it is too small and sometimes suffocating. I hardly sit in campus area because of it's small in size . But there are Gymkhana for boys and Girls common room little bit equipped with carrom

Admission

The admission was online. I choose this college becoz it is near form station. Comparatively I didn't like the campus and canteen area much. There is no proper seating area for students. But the studies is overall good . So apart from campus I would say college is better in many aspects be it co-curricular activities or extra curricular. They provide different courses throughout the year with many competitions included in that

Faculty

I really the faculty to a great extent they always provide helping hands to students. I belong to botany department. But for some reason I don't like zoology department because the faculty is senior and we get little scare to ask for something.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

I chose IT as it has a vocational subject which can gain you more marks. But the facilities are very bad. All facilities wete trainies non wete permanent. Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell is responsible for the placement process. It is not very streamlined. Getting a job is considered tough, usually, the student has to search for it themselves. The average package offered is about 4 Lakhs which is okayish. Usually, students go for masters in Europe which is one of the best options. About 40 people apply for placements out of 180 students and out of that about 20-30 get placed.

Talking about admission criteria of RJ college are based on merit scores of the last qualifying examination. Specific eligibility criteria vary by course but for mine its was minimum 45% in qualifying HSC examination and cutoff for the same at the time of my admission was 85 percent for hindi minority students and slightly more that non minority and open category students and very less score required for category students.
